600 is NOT the max you can get. Per the Super Mario Wiki: "The most points a player can get is 800, obtained by hitting a 50 first, and then x2s for the other four, or by hitting two 50s first and three x2s after." Also apparently the DK space Dillon skipped, it makes DK put 20 or 30 coins in a hotel for the player who landed on it.
