we see the overwhelming difference of a serious Frieren that's not just spamming Zoltraak, this is how scary she is when she fights for real, that sequence of spells was insane, and she has the mana to back them up for days is the scary part.

the actuall scary part is that she's not even a battle mage, she's more like a magical scientist. the thing that makes her next to none is her level of magic analysis. remeber that barrier in ep. 21, well, its was prob the least impresive example. in manga she despelled the curse even Serie considered "very low chance to undo".

I doubt in the peaceful years following there was something that dangerous for Frieren to fight. Being attacked by Fern was the most dangerous thing Frieren has faced since the Demon King.

I think the Frieren clone shows that Frieren has Telekinesis (or "imagination" power in the story) on top of her magical power. I believe Ubel also has Telekinesis ("cut" imagination power) together with her magic.

I think I saw someone say that there's a way to release pure mana and only mana radiated from people's bodies or used in spells can be sensed. It's literally not even a spell, just a pure force style push using raw mana so it can't even be detected

idk if i am the only one or not, but complete honesty here, right at 27:47 i had some sort of danger sense go off in my brain, it was barely a second in advance but before the camera zoomed in, i saw her look and i went "she's gonna kill fern-" it was a moment where i got so immersed and crap i forgot where i was and just thought "YA NEED TO DODGE- DUCK- RUN- ROLL- SOMETHIN-" XD idk if it's because i watched so much anime i have developed a sense for when character's get obliterated, or just sense when big attacks are coming, at least when there not announced too the whole world or universe that there coming, ether way i've seen only a rare few people jump or react similarly to me where they just freeze up or they jump a lil like they expect a attack to come.

These episodes show why its a good idea for Frieren to only use basic attack and defense spells. You know how people complain all the time that its all she uses? Just imagine if she always cast large spells like these all the time. People would really be freaking out. She'd be called the coming of the new demon lord. None of these younger mages have seen real spell casting. Changing landscapes.

no that wasn't the case, it was a flashback meant to demonstrate that sometimes a human mage with that potential will emerge, and they then pan pout to Fern because Fern had to kill Frieren's clone, i don't think there's any risk of that happening. Also Frieren in my opinion will soon surpass what a human mage can achieve with the few decades it has at his disposal. Serie did say "humans will overtake us", but she meant as the dominant species capable of using magic, not overtake them specifically.
