Absolutely gorgeous, I do not blame you for staying on the sand. We love you back to videoing, riding, and sharing. Some of the horses playing in the waves was beautiful, but Uniek and Hester are our Herd and always beautiful. I cannot imagine seeing this in person, it must have been visually overwhelming. I used to live in a seaside town in the U.K. called Southport. One of its most famous inhabitants was a racehorse called Redrum. He had some sort of issue with his legs and hooves but training on the beach sorted him out and he became the only horse to win the famous and arduous Grand National race three times

it looked like so much fun!! I looked for red ribbons in the horses’ tails, did no see any, but saw one tail with a white ribbon. , not far from Yvoone’s party. Uniek did very well, all that walking on sand. iit takes more effort. Maybe my imagination but it looked toward the end that Uniek’s right hind leg was a little stiff? i know both my legs would be stiff.:) It was a treat to see the North Sea reflecting the sky-it was so beaufiful. My ancestors came from the North Sea. it looked so calm and gentle today. However, I have learned how wild it can be in winter stormss My ancestor’s home on the Island of Nordstrand was taken by the sea in a bg storm in the 1600’s. They immigrated on a ship sent by the Queen of the Netherlands, New Amsterdam , present day New York. Therefore,I feel a kinship to Friesland and so proud of Yvonne and her Friesian horses.❤ The Best horses! To see 500 of them, all alike is a rare sight. I wonder how long is the distance of the beach walk? Did you get refeshments and treats at the finish line? Thank you for sharing. 🇺🇸

Yvonne, I just got a glimpse of Queen Uniek's Crown. How totally awesome to see this amazing group, all of those gorgeous Friesian Horses united and no squabbling amongst that tremendous crowd. This was one of the beautiful and amazing things I have ever seen. And that's just watching it on KZbin! How it must have been in person. What an idyllic seascape. I miss it. I miss it all: the wind, the sun, the sand, the big sky, the clouds, the smell of the seafoam, the *sound* of the foamy rush of waves. I'm sure that all the horses must have been happy and proud! And you too! How slate-grey is the North Sea! Quite different to the Atlantic and the Indian Oceans around the southern parts of my country. (I'm landlocked, in Johannesburg). It is a joy to feel that I am one of the spectators, you had a lot of spectators actually present there. They must all be very proud of the Friesians.

What a tribute to the Friesian horse breed that this event has gone from 15 to 500 horses, & that so many horses from so many countries can gather so peacefully for a quiet ride along a beautiful beach. Wouldn't it be great if all humans could behave as well as the horses do? That was so funny at 19:38 where Uniek & I think Hester(?) had a face-to-face discussion: "What do you think of this, my Queen?" "I think that it's a lot of horses, but I'm still the boss-lady." And Yvonne, when you told Uniek it was really OK to go into the water, I am pretty sure I heard her thinking, "Good, then YOU get off & go into the water & catch up with me later, b/c I am not doing it!" So fun, so beautiful, so peaceful.

This reminds me of all the rides you and Rein have done over the years. Especially I remember the one of Rein on Uniek in the water and her getting stuck! I'm glad Oda went with you on the ride. I so look forward to Reintje giving birth on camera--I hope it will be soon, though I know you've so much video you want to show with the ponies and Uniek's surrogate Coralle.

Thoughts I had while watching this video: 1. Probably one of my favorites on this channel after "Love at first sight" and "The next day." 2. What a majestic sight. 3. How well behaved all the horses are. 4. How great that Uniek and Hester can keep each other company among strangers. 5. How well organized it was. 6. Sad that this is the last strandrit. 7. Most of these Friesian horses are probably related to each other because the breed descended from only 3 stallions. 8. How other horse breeds must be jealous not to be able to participate.

What a wonderful event! So many magnificent Friesians and beautiful scenery! Im glad Oda and Hester were there, too. For horse and human, it's always better if you have a friend to share it with. And how lovely that some fans got to meet Yvonne and the Queen!
