It’s so amazing to think that Peach was conceived just a day before your accident. So, while she was developing, you were re-developing! Two miracles (three if you include Mario!) happening for the Stal H family at the same time. These videos have kept me happy through the pandemic and beyond. How Daisy carried a foal so big is amazing. Peach is almost too tall to stand and nurse from her mem Daisy! I am so happy Peach is OK, and with a little help from you, Yvonne, she found the dairy. Yes, there's the 1-2-3 rule of foaling: foals should stand by 1 hour of age, nurse successfully by 2 hours of age, and mares should expel her fetal membrane within 3 hours of delivery. Like human babies, it's important that they get the nutrient-dense colostrum over the first few days, which boosts immunity, lines the gut and prevents jaundice.

I was hoping she'd put the camera down and use both her hands to better assist Peach in nursing - to prioritize the *foal's vital, beginning of life needs* _ahead_ of those of her viewers (curiosity) - because Peach needs to *nurse within 2 hours of age,* and *ingest the mare's colostrum* for an immunity boost that'll set them up for life. We can wait, for the best nutritional and immunity needs of the foal to be taken care of.

Hi, Everybody! My first sight of the day, even before coffee, is that of Reintje sniffing her baby " neice" on Yvonne' s hands.... How nice to be in Horjus Stal! Here we see horses sleeping, giving birth, cats escaping, everything is happening there... And Yvonne is up, for most of the night, overseeing the safe arrival of yet another tiny pony! Dribble is a beautiful cat! I am so glad you were able to get Peach to nurse! Every time I see a birthing video, it never fails to impress me on what a miracle it is. It amazes me how the ponies let you help them and care for their foals and sometimes the Friesands don't.
