Bronos X Frieza's first and final form is pretty androgynous, not to mention Nakao has used his Frieza voice for female characters before (Madam Luna from Bust a Move 4 comes to mind) so I really dont understand the issue.

+Marv Duce That I disagree with. Frieze is a man and she makes Frieza sound too much like a wrinkly old hag. The Kai Frieza makes Frieza sound very evil and sound more like a male. I grew up with Linda young but I won't let nostalgia make me appreciate her more than the Kai Frieza. Linda young can do others but just not Frieza. We need Frieza to be a man, not an old lady suffering from smoking cigars.

I don't base all this via opinion from yours or mine, I base all of this by the performance of the voices like putting emotion in the voices and the voices that match the personality of the character. I don't say all this based on opinion, I say this in a matching voice stand point. I grew up with Linda Young, but her voice for the guy is too much of a wrinkly old hag smoking cigars. In the original, the voices are hardly put any emotion into the performance. Seriously, did you not hear the way Goku yelled "YOU FOOL!" that was pathetic. In the games and kai, the amount of emotion is added. The funimation voices are good but there is hardly any emotion that is put. But there are a few standpoints that makes funimation superior to kai. Also, the original Gohan voice has voice that sounds like a teenager; not a good voice for a kid.. In kai, his voice fits his age and he is voice by one of the most outstanding voice actors ever. this has nothing to do with what we prefer or not, it only should deal with the performance and the fitting of the voices for a character's personality, apperence, and gender. One of those things that Linda Young fails to fit in.

I've always found Linda Young's voice much more preferable. Her delivery as Freiza was both smooth and timed right when compared to Christopher Ayers. I do like Christopher's voice just fine, but he tends to force the dialogue way to often. That's just what I think. Linda Young all the way.

As much as I love the original voices from the Anime, in english dubbed Linds seems to be on par with the original, perfectly portrays Frieza as evil, whereas in subbed, Frieza is a polite-savage, he calls Goku as "anata" and "-san", speaks in a respectful manner eats the shit out of krabby that was just minding it's own business in Namek (o.O) I watch both versions ✌ Thanks for uploading.
