It’s a different issue with this unit, but our start button has cracked and won’t allow us to press start. How can we fix this?

Well done. I now have a complex I do their appliance for, and they have FGID2476sF0A. The pressure switch and dumping water underneath, and then the float switch kicking in, causing the machine to go into the drain cycle, drove me a bit nuts. But now I am aware of this crazy design.

❤amazing, it solved my issue. I was able to get into the service mode and identify my drain pump not working 100%. It works 1 out of 5 times

My dishwasher continuously runs water. Doesn’t wanna close. Also it will not turn on like when I push any buttons it does nothing. And I noticed it started to smoke and smell like burnt rubber. What do I do? Is there any fixing this thing? Any help is so appreciated. I am a single mom of five and I don’t know what I’m doing and I can’t afford to get it fixed.

Great tutorial on troubleshooting dishwasher. I am having trouble with mine not draining water. I ran water service test mode and when it came to test 7 to drain, the drain did not kick on and drain it. Before while under power fail the pump came on when tapping Top Rack. I’m thinking pump needs replaced. Any advice?

Thanks to this tutorial, I've replaced both the control board and touch pad on my 2 year old dishwasher, but it's still not functioning properly. A light comes only comes on every other function on the touch pad and nothing shows up in the window. What can I check now?

i had error code ER (means stuck key). i turned breaker to it off for 5 minutes and back on; did not work. I turned breaker off all night and was going to work on it today but now it's working. solution: breaker off all night, back on

How do you get it out of RT mode to use it as normal?

Mine shuts off whenever the wash motor starts running. I confirmed in the test mode that the drain pump and fill work fine. When the wash motor starts ( I tested at the lowest speed) it shuts off and won't come back on until I reset it at the breaker.
