OMGOSH! It worked. Thank you. Thank you so much!!! It was very easy to fix. I followed your exact instructions. Viola, I can add this to my life accomplishments. One note: after i plugged it in the screws were a little off so i was terrified of cracking by over tightening. And after i plugged it in the error code was on. Great video, but is there a way to test the door lock without buying one, and still have the same issue. Then going to the motherboard? Checking the door lock with my dmm and looking for Ohms, or continuity in the door lock?😊

Good frien I have a problem with my washing machine frigidaire afinity model fahe101mw I will replace the interface card after the steps of resetting control and weight to work but note that when selecting the wash cycle at start to fill to start washing the water boots And goes off. Anybody know where I can get the correct door lock for the washer?

I replace the door lock error code e23 I put it in diagnostics mode and I tested the drain pump. The drain pump ran fine but what’s happening to me is when I start a cycle the door locks water starts to fill for about one second then everything shuts off and the door lock unlocks.

So I installed a new locking mechanism and my washer still says pause "PAU" did some research and found that I could get an error code by rotating the the big dial counter clockwise and then holding down cancel and start buttons at the same time for 4 seconds and error code E41 comes up. So my question is if my locking mechanism is not the issue then it has to be the panel? Also can the relay in the panel be tested or replaced? Please reply.

Why will a Frigidaire FAFW3921NW0 not go into the Normal cycle, will not show any Temp selection? It will show the Temp reading on the 45 Min. Cycle. It will go to warm then where it would not show any Temp settings in the Normal setting

I have the FAFS4474LWO model and have replaced the door lock and main control board and still cannot get the washer to start. When selecting a cycle it locks the door then Sensing begins then goes straight to pause. I have put the washer into diagnostic mode and push each button whereas a corresponding number displays in the lcd and upon turning the selector, the only thing that works is the door lock and tub light, water valves do not operate, spin or rinse cycle won't work. Only the door lock and tub light works. I have already spent a lot of money on the main control board and the door lock. What else could cause it to not work? What is it "Sensing" before it goes to pause???

I have a Kenmore 41741122410 front loader. It quit working with a E41 code, control board THINKS the door is open. The door lock checked bad with my multimeter, got a new lock that checked good, installed it, codes are cleared, washer still thinks that door is open. Checked the wiring from lock to main control board, checked good, also checked wiring to interface board, good. Purchased a new control board as per suggested by the kenmore repair manual, nope, washer still thinks door is open. Checked water pump, not clogged, checked coin trap, very clean. Washer still shows E41 code. When I run an interface board check, the control panel works well except for doing a check where you push the cancel button a second time and all the panel should light, but it does not. can a bad interface board cause the E41 code? Also during the tests, there is no test for after you put in a new lock and it does not solve the problem, kenmore just assumes that it will fix it. Suggestions?

I have an infinity as well which is stuck on pause however my door does lock. I found the error code "EF2" and see that it means to much soap??? I cleared all hoses, checked the pump and restarted but it is still stuck on pause. Can you help?
