@@khaldrogo1782 There's a line in the above where it is stated: "Fringe is not Science Fiction". If you expect scientific plausibility of it you really are missing the point. There is very little SF that is fully plausible but rightly Fringe doesn't even pretend to be. It is something else. Watch it again. Stop the internal quibbling and (very probably) the internal sneer. See it - probably for the first time. As a complete narrative it has it's faults but they are far, far outweighed by what the director, writers and actors got right.

I was watching the show back in the early 2000 I think and whatever channel is on the took it off the air but I missed it and only now it took me half an hour to watch the playlist of Friend one to season three. I wonder if this season for or what they’re only three season because I just click on the video scene from season five I haven’t seen a commercial referencing fringe season three and five, but it was a really good show. The end of Fringe is sad on so many levels. The first is the plot, which was superb. The actors/actresses and writers are a rare breed. Never have I saw a show in which everyone clicked. They were always so kind and grateful to their fans. Second, the emotion that is in this series in unthinkable. I have watched it three full times now and get choked up each time. There has never been a series that picks your brain while plucking your emotions. I cried while watching this. The memories of this show are with me forever. Third, I feel that Fringe is going to be the end of great sci-fi dramas and intelligent TV shows in general. Clearly only a handful of people could keep up with Fringe. Even those who have not missed an episode surly had trouble figuring it out. I feel that this breed of television has died with Fringe. Sure there will be many more grate dramas but none will come close to the experience that Fringe is. Fringe, you have left a mark on this world of television. You may not have had tens of millions of fans but those you did have will never forget you. Long live Fringe.

As a 50-something adult, I have seen quite a bit of TV in my time. There are some shows that are iconic because they lasted so long, and some because they "broke the mold" and did something truly different, and others that despite being brilliant in every way (in my opinion) that simply didnt catch on. Of all the TV shows over the years, Fringe was probably my favorite and still is. I watch the entire series again every year. The chemistry between the actors is amazing to watch, and each character is so deeply fleshed out that you really do begin to "care" about them. If you havent seen Fringe but liked Firefly and Chuck, you'll love Fringe. Not because the stories are similar, but because the characters are so deeply explored.

We should all write a letter to J.J. Abrams and BEG him to make a "Fringe" movie where Peter somehow realizes what has happened to Walter, and figures out a way to go and try to bring him back- or Walter "from the future" figures out a way to come back to his timeline. I don't know about the rest of you, but I so desperately wanted a "happy ever after" scenario. Regardless of whether they were to make a movie or not, IN MY HAPPY LITTLE WORLD they do figure out a way to bring Walter back, and they spend the rest of their days solving Fringe cases... perhaps they even re-open the bridge between the two worlds. The possibilities are endless :-)

My interpretation. 1. Events in all seasons that we watched is deleted timeline and never tuke place in the new reality 2. Olivia and Peter had never met. 3. Our Peter is dead. 4. Peter no.2 is safe and sound in another universe. 5. Walter Bishop was the only one who wonted to play God after the death of his son. William Bell much later accepted that idea in deleted reality. 6. 0.00001% is probability that Walter Bishop took out parts of his brain. 7. Walter Bishop is the real villain. 8 9.9999% is probability that Walter Bishop succeeded in his intention to eliminate both universe and create his own. THE END
@MsMarioWASD8 жыл бұрын
Thats not what I think. They deleted the timeline to the point where the observers invaded. That means that Olivia and Peter are together and have Etta. I think that Walter ceased to exist and thats why Peter gets the white tulip as a reminder that everything will be ok, because I think shorty after that end scene he will find out that Walter is gone. The Peter from our universe is obviously dead, he died as a child, the Peter from the alternate universe is the one who is together wth Olivia and is the father to Etta. Walter Bishop definitely wanted to play God, but thats why he got parts of his brain taken out. William Bell did this for him. Walter Bishop is not a/the villain. TLDR: Basically I think that all of what happened in the series really happened that way, there are no hints that lead to assumption that we were fooled and made to believe that what we saw wasn't what really happened.
@DoItForU8 жыл бұрын
but observers are no more so our Walter Bishop did not have to go after Peter no.2 and if he did that mean that they are both dead and that is the end than

Now I’m crying in the club rn just reminiscing how much I love this show, the characters, the science, the plot...hell, even the comic. The box DVD set was HANDS-DOWN the BEST birthday gift I’ve ever received....and also the only birthday gift I ever bought for myself 😅

should Corona be long gone by my next birthday, or the first one after, I think I’d actually like to have the white tulip drawing added into my sleeve.

It’s now 2021 as I’m posting this. I miss Fringe. Honestly, it was one of my favorite shows. And, let me tell you that I could run my own TV sins channel over how hyper critical I am about shows. But Fringe. It took itself just serious enough to be engaging. Yet it had enough light hearted/comedic moments to allow you to suspend disbelief & smile. 😎

even after all these years, and endless amounts of re-watches, fringe remains my all-time favorite tv show. not even by a little - no other tv show i've loved or enjoyed has even compared. i'm so happy that i was able to be with this show since the very beginning, and so very honored and proud to be one of the many fans who helped to keep this show on the air. jj is right, it's so rare to properly get to say goodbye to a show. i'm glad fringe was one of them. my heart belongs to this show.

I love that in the last scene it says “thank you for your support” on one of the letters

Fringe has been my fav tv series of all time. I've watched every season, in entirety, more times than I can recall. I just found it on Amazon [imbd free dive], watched it all from day 1 to the finale again bc my bf had never seen more than an episode of 2, but he too became addicted, &, everyday, as soon as he got home from work, he said, "Put Fringe on!" When we were wrapping up the final season, I told him, "Well, hun, the end is just a cpl episodes away," & he legit has been bummed since. Neither of us believe we'll find another series we'll both enjoy & want to watch from beginning to end. I'd die for a reboot w/the same characters, perhaps in another alternate universe w/different cases & perhaps varying character dynamics, but w/a similar format. Long live Fringe!! ❤

Best show ever written. You realize that when you start to love also the guest star in a single episode. Every character is brilliantly written....all the actors are perfect in the role they got. Then the Core three.......WALTER, PETER and OLIVIA are the best I have never seen in my life. Their story, their character development make you think a lot about the life we live every day. At the end, my ship POLIVIA...a wonderful healthy couple, how much I suffered due to them, but they got their happy ending, they deserved it. I will miss this show, even if I’m going to rewatch it for eternity. Thank you so much to all of you. 5 wonderful years and seasons. ❤️

Fringe should not have ended, one of the very few tv series I can honestly say was worth watching. I miss it.

i just realized that about every 2 years i re-watch fringe, because every time i come across that show, and i watch it and i forgot two-thirds of it, but i watch it anyways, because this show, above all others is the best in the universe! -- that includes any other parallel ones-- Thank you so much for creating fringe, it was/still is one of the best shows, and you can never get bored with it. LONG LIVE FRINGE IN ALL ITS GLORY!!

This fantastic show is currently on Sky in the UK. Seasons 1-5. As a fan originally I had not seen it on anywhere, even after looking for it now and again, (Should have just bought it. Think I will now. It's a show that you can revisit ) Anyway, I literally just finished episode 13 the last of season 5, and I swear, I just cried a bit, choked up I suppose is a better description, when Peter says to Walter at the end, "I love you Dad " oh my god, I'd forgotten so much, it was brilliant seeing it again and not remembering how it all turned out etc. But man, that scene was beautiful, heartbreaking even. I won't spoil, but I just felt that I had to say how much I loved this show originally and again now, 7 odd years after it finished originally. Brilliant cast. Fantastic show.
