I have always and will always be a huge fan of The Original Teen Titans. I’ve never seen Teen Titans Go, don’t think I want to tbh but maybe one day I’ll look into it. I was so ecstatic to see you upload a video on this series’ ending. As a young kid/preteen when I first saw this series, I remember feeling like things were left up in the air. Probably because I never knew about the comics, or that she had a brother. I remember being so EXCITED Terra had returned [because her and Raven have always been my top two favorite characters] but when she acted like she didn’t remember them, I was so heartbroken. However, to be honest- knowing what she went through, I don’t blame her on wanting to start a new life. Thank you for the amazing video Jordan, I am happy to know she had a brother and finally know the official end to her story.

The answer I've always heard and liked the most is that when Trigon came to Earth, everyone on Earth but the Titans got turned to stone. So, when Raven sent her healing wave across the entire world, it de-stoned everyone on Earth. Including Terra. When Raven defeated Trigon, it set Terra free, and she built a new life for herself, free from the burdens and problems of her past.

There are comics where the first "Raven" Robin ever meets is her from the future who guides him on a mission to prevent some kind of horror in her time. From that perspective he did know her more then even she thought he did, let alone the other Titans. If the show does not use that as a part of Robin's backstory; I think her understanding him during his trauma with Slade and him returning the favor during the Tri-gon conflict definitely makes them like best friends. I had the opportunity to ask Ashley Johnson (who voiced Terra) if she was given any extra insight as to whether the girl at the end was Terra, or if it was her and she had amnesia, or if she was faking it. She said that she asked the same thing and the director refused to tell her because he thought it would affect her performance. So, she said her "head canon" is that it was Terra, but due to the de-stoning process she lost her memory and wasn't lying to Beast Boy about not being her, she just simply didn't remember. (Yeah, the Titans never did tell him the truth about his sister, and the original Outsiders other than Batman all hold a grudge against Nightwing for that.) Then it turns out her future was a lie constructed by a villain called Monarch as part of a crazy plan with Hal Jordan to unmake reality and reboot a world where nothing bad ever happens. And her backstory was a lie constructed by another villain called the Time Trapper in order to stop the Monarch from doing this because that whole "destroy all reality" thing ruined his plans, whatever they are. Terra was easily one of my favorite parts of the show. While I was initially upset that Terra left because of a misunderstanding, I was glad that she came back later... My brother caught onto the symbolism of Terra's hair blocking _half_ her face at the end of the episode. I didn't want to believe him...But when the next episode came out called "Betrayal," I was heartbroken... Terra's redemption actually reminded me of the Majin Vegeta arc from Dragon Ball Z - which happened to be airing on Toonami around the same time...So I guess I just assumed that people turning to stone after expunging all of their energy was just a _thing_ that happened... But I was hopeful that Terra would one day come back; my hopes were from the Trigon Trilogy after Slade opens the soul vault and gets his soul back, coming back to life. I figured that maybe Terra's soul or life-force could've returned to her body this way. So I was pleased to see her return in "Things Change." It would've been fitting considering that Terra's actions in Aftershocks resulted in Slade's _Death,_ so Slade's actions could've resulted in her resurrection. Honestly...it's really the fact that how this plot-thread has been left hanging for nearly 20 years is what bothered me for a long time. But now a days, considering how badly things can get screwed-up when they're brought back...perhaps its' better that this remains buried. But the truth is, this could've been a major character-building moment for Beast Boy; instead of having Slade tell him that Terra doesn't remember because she doesn't _want_ to remember, Beast Boy could've learned that she now has a _second chance_ - a clean slate to start over, so he shouldn't burden her with the memory of who she was, what she became, and what she did; because no matter how much the group accepted her, and how much good came from it...the bad would leave a permanent mark that would just slowly eat away at her...Beast Boy could've been mature enough to spare her that. Never knew about the comics though...

It is reassuring to confirm in the comics that Terra is indeed just living a normal life. Even her brother Geoforce doesn't want to disturb her because Terra is the happiest she's ever been in her life. Make you really wonder if being a traveling, pick-me superhero was even close to the truth to how her personality is. I speculate her alias as cheerful "Terra" was just a way to cope with all the bad shit thrown at her by staying positive. Now that the truth is out to everyone who would know, she has no reason to act like the backbone of every situation. Hence her more toned down attitude.

Terra's portrayal in the show differs quite a bit from her appearance in the comic. In her comic appearance she's a lot more one-dimensional, a mercenary hired by Slade (or Deathstroke, whatever you want to call him) to infiltrate the Titans as part of his mission to capture them for HIVE. She's a creep to the point where even _Slade_ is weirded out, but not too weirded out to not have a fling with an underaged girl about a third his age. Yes, it's as creepy as it sounds. Terra manages to guilt trip the Titans into revealing their true identities and relays this information to Slade, who sets a number of traps ranging from trapping Wonder Girl's darkroom (she's into analogue photography, or as it was known in the 80s: photography), sending a gift-wrapped bomb to Starfire, modifying one of Cyborg's kitchen chairs so that it'd clasp restrains onto his wrists and ankles and then electrocute them, or drugging the glue strips on the envelopes that Beast Boy uses to reply to his fanmail (yes, Slade actually did that). His plan to capture Robin was to fistfight the one Titan whose main power is fistfighting, which is why Robin was the only one who avoided capture. Terra's downfall was caused when Robin received backup in the form of Jericho, aka Joseph Wilson. Yes, in the comics he's the second son of Slade. He has the power to possess people, something Terra didn't know. So when Jericho possessed his father and turned him against her, Terra was so outraged by the betrayal she freaked out and brought down the entire HIVE base, killing her. In the comic Beast Boy was very much interested in her, and she only pretended to like him back. Even after her betrayal and death Beast Boy kept insisting that she was being blackmailed or mind controlled by Slade, so he challenged Deathstroke the Terminator to a fight to the death. But when he showed up it was an unarmed Slade out of costume and refused to fight back Beast Boy was unable to kill an unarmed man. Slade then treated Beast Boy to breakfast (yes, Slade actually did that) and explained that he only took the job against the Titans because it was forced onto him by HIVE when his son Grant took the job to capture them and was pain in advance in physical enhancements to his body, only to die before he could complete the job. HIVE doesn't take kindly to people failing so they forced Slade to take the job, who actually succeeded in capturing and handing over the Titans. When the Titans escaped he just pointed out to HIVE that it wasn't his problem and if they wanted him to capture them again, they'd have to pay. But before they could Jericho possessed him and we know the story from there. So thanks to the entire mess Slade lost his oldest son, his second son had turned against him (and even joined the Titans) and HIVE hadn't paid him, meaning that he came out worse than he went in. While he knew the identities of the Titans he promised Beast Boy to not act on this and that he'd leave them alone... which he did all the way until the Teen Titans got a comic version based on the show and he became a primary villain. The whole "who is the second Terra" thing also came up, even though it was very unclear whether Terra II was a clone, the original with memory loss or something else. She really was into Beast Boy though, who was pretty weirded out by this. There's also Terra III, who is from a secret civilization deep underground and was given the genetic template alongside the powers of the original Terra, except she's got black hair instead of blond. Terra III, or Atlee, has little to do with the Titans aside from sometimes hanging out with Starfire and is best known as Power Girl's sidekick. Were the changes any good? Well, Terra was changed up quite a bit from a rather flat villain into something better rounded. Slade by contrast traded in his pathos to become a more prominent villain, making him less sympathetic but more evil. So I'd say it kind of rounds out.

I feel like Teen Titans really highlights what makes a good cartoon, which can be seen in other loved shows like Avatar: The Last Airbender and even later on in Adventure Time. All of these shows never once talked down to their audience or treated them as less intelligent than they were. They embraced serious, real topics while maintaining an air of goofiness on the side to temper it, and both of these sides work to highlight each other. Teen Titans had characters that felt like real people with real emotions, and it's why Teen Titans Go feels so soulless, because the characters don't really have emotion other than surface level issues. Where Teen Titans can show serious character development like the relationship between Beast Boy and Terra or Robin and Starfire, Teen Titans Go would stop everything to do a funny fart and then spent the rest of the episode laughing about how funny the fart was because it was so random, proceeding to make the entire theme of the episode about funny farts; and at the end of it all, the status quo is maintained and everyone is reset to how they started, rather than being allowed to grow or have an overarching plot.

It’s kind of insane it ended like that and a message about letting things go sometimes. Beast-Boy always had a great moral compass and a great handle in reaching out to people, he had a very high emotional intelligence. When those two electric villains show up, he picks up very quickly that they at least one of them is not evil, the guy just was not able to understand what he was doing and was too dumb to be aware of his victims. Beast-Boy interacted with him twice and that was enough for him to start doubting his ways. He is the glue that keeps the group together.

For me, I always considered “Calling All Titans 1 and 2” as a better or more proper finale for the whole show. The two-part episode is basically an Infinity War/Endgame kind of situation for the Titan saga. “Trouble in Trouble” was a fine ending, but it felt more like a regular TV movie special than a grand finale. And “Things Change” felt like a cliffhanger made for a potential season 6 that never got greenlighted. I do think it’s a good ending for an entire season, not so much for an entire series. So it feels a bit off for a show to deliberately conclude with a character from season 2 being brought back from the dead just to teach a lesson about changes after five seasons in.
@seithmyers67572 жыл бұрын
@@sunspotmill1291 dude they regressed her character development as well. It was not finished it feels like spilled milk of an idea than a finished episode. It has gaping holes and only makes her look worse because it looks like she learned nothing. She has those powers like it or not and her lies make her gas's lighting Slades level. Not to forget her clothes had to be stolen as she never had those. Her powers are going to manafest themselves and everyone at that school will be in danger. A better fit is where they had her where she sacrificed herself or her out and being a wondering superhero after she got broke out. The break out also is a big plot hole because raven never sensed her friend got unfrozen. Now I would love if that wasn't terra but a Slade made clone and the real Terra is in trouble because Slade holds grudges you think he'd let his naughty apprentice that got him killed just get up without him going after her? This could also be a good lesson for Beast Boy to keep digging for the truth and take nothing at face value. Also what Slade said seemed like he was trying to hurt Beast Boy or manipulate him.

I was very alone when this finale aired. A year prior, I'd had a housefire, my mother had been arrested for animal hoarding, and I'd severed my relationships with everyone around me. I leaned on this show far too hard, I'll be the first to admit. It filled the void I had fallen into, and this finale sent me down a spiral. The show was all I had at the time, and the pointedly depressing ending hit me like a truck. I eventually turned it around and made myself better, but for years I couldn't even address this show for the damage it had inadvertently done (or, more accurately, I had let it do to me). Nothing against the stylistic choice of ending, but the impact it had on me was potent and long lasting.

I loved the show and the artwork and the story works behind it but I definitely leaned too much on it as it was the only thing I really had to guide me through my life. I was in a dark time with horrible trauma and learned that I could be dynamic and that people could be good and bad and it wasn't black and white so I complicated my life more so than I should have thinking that life was just that complicated when.... Obviously it doesn't have to be and now that I'm a well-adjusted adult I love the whole series and wouldn't change anything but in retrospect could have had a different and probably more productive outlet lol

Yeah, I used to love the show Naruto and the side character Hinata I related way too much to. She was an older sister but her younger sister was stronger and better than her at everything, I was also an older sister but I had a disability whereas my younger sister didn’t and she always beat me at everything. Hinata loved her younger sister even though her younger sister wasn’t very nice to her and thought of her older sister as a bit pathetic at first. Unfortunately my sister was the same and I felt exactly the same as Hinata-I never blamed my sister but blamed myself. I hated myself too for being weak. For a time too I almost gave up, but I too like Hinata ended up having a crush on a boy who was laughed at by everyone but he was a good person and it made me want to be stronger too. I didn’t discover Naruto until after I had already been through a lot and was getting better but after I discovered Naruto that story was my anchor during my college years. I seriously would read that story whenever I was feeling stressed or down throughout college and even as a young professional. And so of course it meant more than I can say how the author gave Hinata a completely happy ending despite all the backlash he did get. (I read that even his wife didn’t want Hinata to get this extremely happy ending-and I do get it, I never disliked Sakura, I always really liked Sakura just as Hinata does as a friend in the show). But I did think that it would have been difficult for Hinata to have a happy ending without marrying Naruto and it just really really meant so much to me that she got the happy ending. So I feel for you too, people may say it’s dumb but somehow it does give hope and means something when a story shows a character full of struggles and isn’t even considered important by most (especially a side character) to then be given a happy ending. It just somehow has so much weight. In my life I didn’t get the happy ending that Hinata did, but at least I know just from the story itself that there are people out there who love me and care enough to give a character like me the absolute best ending. That’s basically how I see it. It just makes you feel like others do care.

My thing is, people make the choices they make to survive things they go through. It's really easy to look back and judge yourself harshly for those choices, without ever considering how much of a difference hindsight and distance from the trauma can make. When you're going through the event you don't really have any of this, you're just trying to get by. You don't have true knowledge of how you'll get through this, or if you even will; you don't have enough distance from the painful feelings to think more rationally; and you don't yet have the maturity and knowledge that you developed getting yourself out of that hard time. So of course, when you have these things, it's super easy to look back and think that it was easy to have made different healthier choices, when in reality, in the moment, it probably wasn't. I do this all the time with my past self. Why didn't I do X? Or see that y was actually true? But like, my past self having had to figure that stuff out themselves is why I have that knowledge now. It isn't as easy as retroactively applying current knowledge and lessons to the past. Living the past the way we did is what taught us those lessons more often than not. This is especially the case when a lot of the mistakes we made were fairly innocuous and didn't harm a lot of people. If they were harmful, than of course a part of the process is also holding ourselves accountable for the harm we caused. Maybe there were healthier choices that we could have made but just decided not to. That's on us. It's a both/and. All that is to say, I think you're being too hard on yourself. You were going through a very hard time and using what you had access to, to cope. There are much worse things you could have used, and in the grand scheme of things, getting too wrapped up in a cartoon and hating it's finale is hardly a crime. If it helped you get through trauma, so what? As far as I know it wasn't all that harmful, and maybe it was the one thing that kept you going long enough to be a healthier happier person. That's nothing to be ashamed of. If anything, that past version of you is to thank for you having got here.

While I think the message for the last episode in context to beast boy is good (the message of moving on) I think its a poor place to end terras character. @TeddyDuffle2 жыл бұрын
I have to disagree! Terra was never cut out to be a hero, and has so much guilt attached to her life as a villain. Just because someone has powers doesn't necessarily mean they belong in the hero world, and Terra always craved normality. Her ending is perfect for her, because she finds middle ground by being neither a hero nor a villain, but just another nameless face amongst the public. She's detached herself from her past, and we see that she is getting an education, has friends, and is happy. It's only when Beast Boy shows up that she becomes irate again, because he reminds her of everything she wants to forget. She was immensely toxic to everyone she cared about and a fresh start is the best outcome for her, which is what she got. :)
@gtf2342 жыл бұрын
I don't quite agree it's a poor ending for it because from her debut she was seeking some sort of normalcy and being a hero quickly blew up as not being a viable option for what she sought. But at the very least it's a significantly different take on Tara Markov and wasn't just a straight animated conversion of the Judas Contract (we eventually got nearly a decade later in 2017 but that's neither here nor there for this discussion). Here she is a somewhat more tragic character compared to her original depiction as a hateful sociopath who just wants to watch the world burn for fun. She was out to destroy the Titans because she vehemently rejected what they stood for: defending the weak instead of slaughtering them as inferiors. To the point where she was actually more bloodthirsty than Deathstroke the Terminator was, since the he was almost entirely driven by a desire for vengeance as a grieving father against the Titans AND the HIVE for the death of his eldest son. By the by that was also a thing I always thought was odd- they did use Jericho, but never went into him being Deathstroke's other son despite how prominent of a villain he was What I think is interesting is how revamping the Judas Contract and a few other tweaks makes everything so much more, soft, on Beast Boy. Garfield in the New Teen Titans was a very broken young man hiding it behind a fun and playful facade; he had crippling survivor's guilt as the only survivor of the Doom Patrol's original finale. And Terra really cruelly preyed on him- he was so haunted by her manipulations and betrayal that he didn't finally accept the truth- that she was always evil and not somebody who could be saved (not that she even wanted to be) and wasn't the product of the Terminator- until Blackest Night , 25 years later, when her corpse came back and tried to run him through that emotional ringer all over again. But in TTA, the Doom Patrol is still alive and Terra genuinely liked him

So true my lord didn't she learn nothing?! Her powers will always be there and now she's going to harm not just a small few but a school of at least one hundred. It made me so pissed as it felt like someone spat on the character rather than respected her. She's a B to Beast Boy and for sure the start of a villain as her clothes are certainly not hers meaning she stole. Her and Slades words also are top level gas's lighting. You can't expect me to believe that is her telling the truth about her likes when Beast Boy was her date and long time friend, used them and she said the opposite. Also notice how Slade prayed on this and said she doesn't want to remember you. To do that is the ultimate insult as she once loved him and he loved her. It also is gas's lighting to the max as now Beast Boy will blame himself but also wonder if the entire relationship and friendship was in his head. This second guessing leaves you lonely sad and where you don't trust your mind at all. My girlfriend had such happen to her. It crushed her and made her hate what she deemed her best features as well as question her own intelligence.

I actually think it’s very realistic. My head canon is that she knows she’s Terra but she would rather let go of the past and leave the trauma behind. Unfortunately that means leaving beastboy behind as well.. It’s something beastboy needs to respect at the end of the day.

Also, after rewatching the series, I feel like Beast Boy was actually the main character of Teen Titans. It seemed like there were more episodes revolving around him than any other character, Each character pretty much had a season centered around them. Robin was season 1, Terra was season 2, Cyborg season 3, Raven season 4, and Beast Boy season 5. Really the whole Terra arch was centered around Terra and Beast Boy so he is the only character who had two seasons about his character development. And the fact that the last episode featured none of the other Titans and ended the way it did kinda confirms my theory.

I cried so hard at the last episode. Such a great show. I feel like the writers knew the show wasn't going to get the time it deserved and wanted to let us know the characters would change but that it would be alright. I think they knew we'd have a hard time letting these great characters go and they wanted to help us accept that. It matched the tone of the show as a whole and was a great way to end a series that ended too soon.

Wow, the fact that I don't remember Slade was in the episode at all really says something about how powerful Terra's reappearance was. Hands down my favorite aspect of this show was the fact that you could pick just about anyone and view them as the "main character" and it still works. Like... Cyborg had an entire story with a beginning, middle and end, same with starfire, and Raven, and Robin ties them all together in the perfect way. I sincerely miss this show and WISH they would bring it back.... I've given Go so many chances and it still just feels like a "look how they've massacred my son" version of the original.

I actually saw Trouble in Tokyo before the last episode, so to me it did kinda wrap everything up, but I was really sad about it. I didn't think the girl would actually be Terra though, I figured she was just a different girl that looked like her, she looked younger and shorter than Beastboy.

Theres just some details that bug me slightly....why did Slade care enough to deny responsibility and tell Beast Boy "she doesnt want to see you anymore"? This isnt the Slade from the comics, where he sometimes does good, he's evil. So why didnt he take the chance to torture Beast Boy and taunt him? That or just doing nothing seems like the more "in character" actions for him Also that line "she looks happy". I'm not denying she isnt, but whats her life even like? I mean she woke up one day in a cave, no memories on top of a pedestal.... did she wander the streets? how did she enroll in a school? Is she in a orphanage? does she have foster/adoptive parents? just my thoughts

I’m just annoyed because each Titian seemed to get a season that had episodes focused on them that were central to the story line, except Starfire. She got some amazing episodes don’t get me wrong but hear me out: Season 1 was Robin’s Obsession with Slade. Season 2 was the introduction of Terra and her arc, Season 3 had a main focus on Cryborg and Brother Blood, Season 4 is about Raven literally being the key to the end of the world, and Season 5 is centered around Beast Boy again with The Doom Patrol and stopping their main antagonist The Brotherhood of Evil while introducing us to new titians. But we never got a season that gave us multiple main storyline focused Starfire episodes. It was a really big missed opportunity in my opinion because she’s a super fun and POWERFUL character. Seeing her stomp out her own arch rival would’ve been amazing. But Starfire is my favorite so maybe I’m bias 😅

I always got the vibe she took BB on a date not as a distraction, per se, but rather as a way to ensure he was out of the tower when the attack happened. Yeah, I agree, Trouble in Tokyo was a great way movie, but it could have been inserted anywhere into the series. Robin and Starfire's story line was cute, but we all knew they would eventually get together. Beast Boy and Terra's storyline was so much more intense and heart-wrenching, we did not know where it would end up. Not seeing the two of them end up together was sad. Seeing Beast Boy run back to his duties and leave Terra behind left us knowing the Teen Titans would still be superheroes together. But we also knew that Beast Boy was leaving his heart behind him. The Teen Titans would always be missing one person from their team because Terra was not there.

Teen Titans is probably my favorite piece of western animation. Great animation (for the time), great storytelling, great characters, great soundtrack, great action. It rarely let me down. Including the ending. It's a 100% fit for the series, even if it (potentially) wasn't meant to be. Season 5 was Beast Boy's arc, starting with Doom Patrol and ending with tying up his relationship with Terra that was previously cut short. Not only that, but it's also a good way to "end" a superhero show. There will always be a threat, new or old, to take down. The return of Slade, with the new creature, gives us both. And being Beast Boy's arc, letting Terra go because it's better for her shows a growth in both his character and maturity. Not 100% positive, but through his personality and actions, Beast Boy seemed to be the youngest of the Titans. Things may change, but the Titans will always be the Titans, ready to save the city no matter what, and this episode displays that perfectly. Yes, more episodes would be great, though the writing and casting of season 5 was weak compared to the rest. If the show could return to its greatness of seasons 1-4, I'd be all in. But if it peaked then and was on the decline starting with season 5, I'm glad it ended then and there, when it still shone brightly.

I can say on a fluff note: My fav AU theory is that during the "control your powers" speech. They manage to prevent her from leaving. And she has a "Oh... right..." moment. Based on that 1: She is openly stated as a huge TT fan. Meaning: She *would* know facts about them. 2: With that: remember that Robin is the "son" of the WORLDS GREATEST DETECTIVE xD Whom: She openly demonstrated her powers in front of. On other notes: I have greatly enjoyed Terra in Young Justice. Even if the rest of the show is a very... mixed bag.

From what I think happened, Terra used up all of her remaining power's to stop the volcano and turned to stone as a result, thus saving everyone and becoming a hero in the end. But when Trigon turned everyone to stone and then when the spell was reversed, Terra got to live life a second time as a normal human girl because she no longer had her powers after "sacrificing them" to save the town. The ending was one I have thought about from time to time after I first watched it when it aired all those years ago, kind of shows how good the storytelling was in this show.

people hating on terra is always SO uncomfortable to me because she is *very* accurate to a lot of messed up kids i knew, especially ones with similarly screwed up relationships with older men like slade. it's really disturbing to see people villainize and blame her for being exploited by an abusive creepy old guy, just like the girls i knew were dismissed and demonized. it really shows that while there is a clear distinction between fiction and reality, the way that *you* react to fiction still says a lot about you and how you'd react to a similar situation in real life.

I definitely empathized with Terra in that way. Though I would never know how it feels to be manipulated by older people, I instantly understood why Terra acted the way she did. It's unfortunate too because people are quick to blame things on the younger generations, thinking age = right to authority. Terra's ending is poetic because she's finally free to do what she wants with no one telling her what to do.

I kinda thought of the ending with beast boy leaving terra to live a normal life was a good way to end it. Beast Boy seemed to have an attachment issue since he didn't want to be abandoned like he was by his last team. He went after Terra like he wanted others to go after him. The issue was that Terra didn't want that. He had to learn that you can care about someone and let them go.

Not only was this show a masterclass of story telling and plot, it resonated with so many of us who were teenagers back then, treating us as adults, as equals, not children. On another note, when it comes to Terra's "amnesia," there's two different possibilities, the writers literally gave us a clue in the title, "Things Change." Either she A.) literally forgot everything and everyone she had been around and went on living a normal life after Raven's white robed form freed everyone on Earth from Trigon's petrification power, or B.) Her memories and powers were unaffected, but due to the severe trauma of hurting the ones closest to her more than once, she chose to reject everything and everyone that she used to know. After undergoing severe physical and psychological trauma, no one is ever the same as they were before. She'd be totally deceiving BB and the TT, but sometimes things really do change, and are simply too much to handle. By being a hero she'd sacrifice being able to live an ordinary life around ordinary people. Being a hero sounds great on paper, but the responsibility that goes with it isn't for everyone. She totally has the right to make that decision, (although repeatedly lying to someone she knew had serious feelings about her is shitty no matter how you slice it,) at least she'd get to live her life how she wants, on her terms, rather than having the crushing weight of being a hero weighing down her consciousness. And besides, metahumans were popping up everywhere, and not too long after this, the Justice League was formed, having chapters all across the world, by then the Teen Titans weren't even teens anymore, and there really was no need for them. There were plenty of more suitable people to be heroes than Terra, and to me that's an end to a show I can totally live with, not the one we were given. I'll never forget this show....
