I saw somewhere a taxonomist say that if weasels grew to about 60 lbs., there wouldn't be a mammal alive on the planet because they are such fierce killers. Good thing they are small little creatures.

Nicholas H you could get a ferret. they're about 3 times as big but just as energetic. Just be aware that almost all captive ferrets get adrenal cancer and the medicene for it can run into the thousands per year. I got ferret without knowing that and then had to find a rescue because i couldnt afford the treatment once she got older.

people ask why it doesn't get tired and how it can kill a rabbit. It doesn't get tired due to its heart rate as fast as a humming birds and it needs to be constantly moving. It can also kill a rabbit because of its speed and it's jaw strength. The hardest a human can chomp down with their teeth, this weasel can double that strength. these can't be pets, but in this case it was a rescue (:
