Frisk and Sans SPEEDPAINT - (ChessTale AU) Checkmate, Kid

Here's the finished painting here walkingmelonsaa...
So here's another Commission! SO MANY AU COMMISSIONS GAAHH!!!! XD (NO REGRETS They are super fun to draw XD haha) I love how they all involve Sans in some way. XD My next Commission is also an AU and it DOESN'T involve sans. (sorta) unless you count the .... personality his character is based off of 9v9 if you get my drift l:)
So this is of Chesstale!!! I know literally nothing about it aside from the fact the whole game and story of Undertale is practically the same other than the fact that is follows the concept of a game of chess basically. Also all the monsters are the black pieces, and the humans are white. And that they all represent a different chess piece, and in this case both Sans and Frisk represent Pawns.
as I said I know very little from this AU so I can't really put my thoughts down on it like I usually have been, and even with Error Sans, InkSans, and Underswap I still am pretty outside the loop because I don't follow them, but I understand it pretty well. but as far as ChessTale, that's really all I can tell you. lol
HOWEVER!!! What I can say is that the clothing design is super fun and inticate to draw!!! Kinda has a Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts feel to it, (which would make sense with Kingdom hearts involving FF) so it was really cool to draw two of my top favorite Undertale characters in such intricate outfits!
this commissions was suppose to be a headshot commission, which is cheaper than a full digital painting like most of my art. Reason being is because it's just a headshot or a portrait, or maayybbeee bust up or something, which is simpler and takes less work and time, thus the reason of why they are cheaper. but... this is one of those cases where I kinda gave more than ordered. luckily I know the commissioner is ok with it because I showed them a WIP and they loved it! XD But HAHahaha my goodness, when I get ideas that are more complicated, if the commissioner is ok with it, I just can't help but go all out despite that this technically falls in the "Full digital painting" category. Because not all full digital paintings are full body, such as Asgore. but hahaha yeah so lol That's ok. This took me 7 hours as a result too. XD it was fun! :D
The songs I used in this is are "Ruins" from undertale by Toby Fox.
And "Another Medium" from Undertale by Toby Fox.
Finding music for this was hard... because I felt like really nothing fit. :l the only thing I felt like did, was an English Cover with custom Lyrics of BadApple, with the whole turning black and white concept, and the whole anime-esk feel that this painting and the character design has. But I refuse to use another person's work without permission, And I will only use another's work unless I have permission, or if the original creator made a statement somewhere saying it's ok to use their work generally either to the public or to me. which I didn't get. :C so lol oh well. That's ok the song would fit more for a Chara and Frisk painting anyways rather than Sans and Frisk. I used to play chess few years ago and to be honest a Pawn is perfect for frisk. you might think a Pawn in the weakest piece in chess but! at the end they become stronger! if they reached the end of the board they can become anything! (expect the King) and they are really helpful to use as sacrifices and attacks even Defence. so yeah. I think it's pretty cool!

chess is fun but for some reason I am underestemated for my size (seriously some people need to see the doctor about stuff and size a kid thought he was older than me just because he was taller) so that makes really tough when a kid says oh this is going to be easy I make the same look ok if you say so (killed a high schooler in a game of chess).

+Brooke “Ronyo” Phelps I make the thumbnails after I finish the piece and just kinda play around with the crop until it's something I like. Sometimes I have to combine two opposing sides and blend them together for the thumbnail like I did in this case, but yeah it's pretty fast. XD and thank you! :D
