When Tom bombadill released, I prototyped a deck with him I was very frustrated with its inability to finish the game. It just did a ton of stuff, with a lot of value, but never won Buut, very happy to see a mono white 3- equipments running so smoothly I've always been a mono white fan

Frodo went OFF. I see no deck techs or anyone talking about this commander. How good is he?

Frodo is definitely a solid commander. Low commander cost means it's easy to pay commander tax and rebuild. Being able to prevent damage is great, too. Personally, I feel that Ardenn is still better. Both get a free equip each turn but Ardenn gets to do things like equip Skullclamp to opponents' creatures and free equip Colossus Hammer, Sunforger, Kaldra Compleat, etc.. Also, moving auras can be relevant. Plus you get 1-2 extra colors, which gives you a ton more flexibility in deckbuilding. Frodo is still a great commander though.

Why is Frodo auto-equipping all the equipment on attack? He only equips "target" equipment, which would be a single equipment piece.

They do. I just removed them a lot to the scholar to ramp and get the first effect again so sometimes they wont have counters on them

They don't return to their owners' control. Permanents taken from another player return to the previous controller when the current controller is removed from the game. Since the lands weren't controlled by anybody, they don't have a player to return to. They instead get exiled.
