Dean Rojas is the frog master! The bronze eye frogs are the best on the market, and are absolutely fun to fish. There is no better way to catch a bass then on a frog!

Great video on Dean Rojas fishing the frog. He taught me a new fishing knot today. The double pollimer knot. I had never heard of it before. Now I know a valuable knot to use when I go fishing. Thanks for the video. It was very informative.

Should I get a medium heavy for frogging or a heavy?
@TackleWarehouse10 жыл бұрын
Hello Alabama Outdoorsmen If you are throwing frogs over open water with cover that is not thick then you can get a way with med heavy. Any other situation you should use a heavy.

How do you skip the frog without backlash? Also when do you set the hook?

what the ideal specs for a frog rod? a friend of mine says to just use a 7'6 flippin rod, is that correct? if not what are the differences?
@TackleWarehouse10 жыл бұрын
When selecting a rod for Frog fishing, we recommend a rod with a strong back bone but has a soft tip. This will allow you to twitch, skip and pop the frog but the backbone will give you the extra strength to haul and/or turn the fish away from cover.

How do you skip without getting a backlash? I have skipped with spinning reels but not a bait caster it seems like it would backlash.

Where can you get that rod at?? I've looked everywhere
@TackleWarehouse10 жыл бұрын
That rod is discontinued and he is no longer fishing Quantum rods (not sure about the reels). That model rod is available in the Quantum Tactical rod 7' MH Rojas Frog rod. He is fishing Duckett rods now so the Quantums will be discontinued soon. It sounds like they might be working on a frog rod in the future.

why in the heck would the camera man take the focus off the cast, who cares what he is doing. SHOW THE CAST IN TO THE WATER. lets get the action of the frog. when it stop HELL a fish might hit it and he would be looking at a PERSON. and i think this view was great, he would be able to see the tip of the rod and the bait fly through the air , hit the water and stop, with out moving the camera. i hate this crap.
