I don't think the STL generator gave you a very accurate looking model to work with, and I think that's why it really ended up looking more like the Griffith helmet than the Nighthawk lol. The technique is still spot on though and the video very well done, so I appreciate it none the less and look forward to the next one!

You should us the addon F2 so you can make quad polys by just selecting an inner corner point and press 'F'. This makes remeshing much easier.

there is actually a way to create a paper model straight in blender. Just use the plugin paper model and done. Blender will create a print version with markers where to cut and even adds pieces that need to be glued. Probably not the pro way to do it though... cause it's made for a paper model (as the name suggests), but still fun.
