I served as the builder from start to finish and this was by far, one of my less stressful builds. The homeowner was simply amazing to work with and the house turned out great!

Thank you for the tour of the building of a house. I’ll tell you what, if I was having a house built, I would want you on that project. I was surprised they chose carpet for the living room. Most people theses days choose plank floors, even if it is vinyl plank.

How long did the build take from start to finish? Like another subscriber, I'm interested as to why the garage wasn't painted. Is it standard procedure for new homes? I live in a flood zones area I want to build by house on 3 to 4 feet crawl space. Is it as safe or good as a concrete foundation.

Definitely crawl. That way you are still protected.

I'm surprised that they selected carpet instead of faux wood or wood just because it's easier to clean instead of carpet especially if they have dogs.
