She should have gone to somewhere like Sally's and got the correct products for properly bleaching her hair then she should have used a toner. My hair was dark brown almost black and I did my hair in multiple sitting a week to two weeks apart making it lighter and lighter until I finally reached the platinum color that I needed to add the colors I want. Funny thing is I got such a perfect blonde color I still haven't added the colors and I'm enjoying the blonde look for now! I felt bad for her though when she thought she was doing something adding the coconut oil in the beginning like she was really doing something. She literally prevented herself from achieving a lighter color, but everything happens for a reason. I think that a dark auburn or warm brown definitely suits her better than blonde. I'm honestly almost tempted to someday post a hair video 😅

Something that I found absolutely shocking after not being Salon blonde for 25 years when I went back I was shocked that there was no burning on my scalp, no heat no strong smell I could not even believe that they were bleaching my hair. When I last had it done 25 years ago it was in the summer it literally felt like my hair was on fire and I couldn't even breathe. Products have come so far I was amazed I honestly don't remember they're being any smell at all good or bad. Definitely no heat at all. I was shocked when they rinsed my hair out and it was down to a beautiful pale gold color. Especially when they told me that that was my natural color. It was the result of just bleaching. They put a toner on it with hardly any pigment at all and it just came out perfect. For many years I believe that bleaching meant my hair would come out yellow. I'm a natural blonde and what had been happening was the stylists were simply not leaving the bleach in long enough bringing it to yellow and then nothing they could do would take the yellow out. Boy I went to some bad salons in my day. LOL I realized if you want a good job you do have to pay for it. It sure is worth it though.

I’m sorry that I didn’t get this information earlier. I used to dye my hair thinking that I did a pretty good job. I wasn’t told my hair was patchy until at least a year later. I also wasn’t aware at first that I needed more than one box of dye. I didn’t know to do the lengths before the roots. I’m now past dying my hair. Fortunately, my hair became a beautiful silver. Not all people can go grey very well. I love watching these videos irregardless.

I went to the hairdressers last week and thought of you. I had two hours of reading magazines, cups of tea, and having a good gossip. Then after two hours my hair looked lovely, and I was relaxed and so happy. Why would you want to do your hair at home?? Much more enjoyable at the hairdressers. I use purple shampoo to brighten my grey hair. It makes it a pretty silver. So it does have a good use if you use it in the right situation. I’ve used it to brighten my blond in the past also, which works but not the first time. I used it a few times a week and after a couple of weeks it’s nice. And you have to keep using it.
@Ash148513 жыл бұрын
@@Alwaysinvisable I agree it is a good product if you're using it for the right situation, but the thing is that the people in these videos massively overestimate what it can do and they expect it to do stuff like tone out orange when it only out tones yellow.

I've used box dye to dye my hair red/maroon. My hair is a brown color, and from the last time it was dyed it red it has faded and I learned the dye lifted my natural hair to a lighter brown. Then my regrowth is my natural brown. Thankfully it doesnt look bad.(I dont dye my hair myself, I have my friend do it so all of my hair is dyed, NO unevenness.) I do plan on using said dye again, but I know what to expect for the next time.

@hair-buddha3 жыл бұрын
You can do that BUT don't use it with 20vol! Max 10vol
@hctompkins3 жыл бұрын
Are you in usa? I gave up on wella. Now I use ion demipermanent colors to tone after bleaching. If you get a couple tubes, like 9 through 7, if you don't get it lifted enough you can still color it to cover the brassiness. There's also a violet color you can add to the dyes to make them more ashy if you need. I've done full grey with it at a level 8 before. But it's way better than bleaching, being a little unsure if it's pale enough, then trying the wella toner anyway that massacres your hair all for it to have no effect.

Not like hers, mine is just very fine, not voluminous, and has 1,5 cm in diameter spirally curls. It has no products, no dye, no brittle ends, copperish ginger-colored, and long (waist length). I just want more curly hair like 0.5 cm in diameter. I love my hair the way it is, but is it possible for me to perm it to that measurement without damaging it? Thank you in advance :)

If you have had another colour in previously then that could be affecting the colour on the ends. I had red in before I went blonde (done by the salon) and I was warned it may take a few sessions to completely be rid of the darker tone in the blonde on the lengths, The roots is where the most heat is so the colour may take better and quicker on top of your head
