Your production quality just keeps getting better, it has always been great. But after each episode, I think how can it get better than that, and there you go and do it even better. Congratulations on a film experience and story well done.

Maya, you keep surprising me. Whether you are making clothes, riding around on a bicycle through fields and dunes, enjoying a swim on Dutch beaches or explaining the workings of our dunes (excellently done by the way, you taught this Dutchie something about those layers!); you seem to do them all with the enthousiasm of a little girl, yet you always talk about them with a calm soothing voice. Excellent videowork by Aladino btw, you seem to have really enjoyed yourself with the drone this week! :)

What a lovely episode! I follow twenty sailing related channels, well known and not so well-known. Of them all yours is the one that combines aesthetic and adventure in a most seductive way. You really are artists. (And sailors, and expert tradespersons, musicians, jewellery makers, adventurisers (see what I did there?) and all round nice people!)

Just love you weekly episodes. My wife and I had a 32foot sail boat for many years and sailed to the Bahamas from Canada(Ontario). We then travelled in a motorhome which is very similar to cruising, people and places. This episode of cycling, made me feel like I was cycling along with you. Beautiful. Thank you, I look forward to your next episode.

one thing I love about your videos, is this thing about: our journey started when this boat fell off a crane. This is such a random thing, you know, what if the boat had never crashed? gives us a dimension of the absurd.

What a beautiful place ,and great cinematography, (to use and old term),------20 years ago before utube ,I lived in the Bay of ilands on a boat ,I met many cruising couples, who supported there ,lifestyle by making things ,one lady etched ur name in rice and put in a magnified tube , anther guy (with a lovely 70 ft yacht ) sketched historic buildings and water colored them ,and sold them once a year (in his home town) in America, another artist painted beautiful Gaughan style ,and supported her 6 kids and a 75 ft schooner,..how times change tho, ,anyway always lovely hearing your charming voice , and Aldo take on food

The last few episode's I was hoping you would go to Texel as well so I could see the Island through your eyes. I've spend lots off time there over the years because I love everything it has to offer. Friends off ours live on the Island where the have their outdoor sportscenter called "Zandbank" on the beach. You have actually been there in the video at 5:50 you can see it in the upper right corner and at 6:22 its a complete view off it (the place where you went for a swim...) Thanks for, again, a lovely video and your little impression off part off Texel 👌

This episode was pure joy and magic, especially after you got to the beach 😊 I think your channel is unique! I appreciate your artisty, and, the way you carry us along on adventures in such a real time and transparent way. You guys are treasures 💗 thank you 🙏🤙 p.s. also, I love what you shared about the importance of the well-being of sand dunes, that they need to be allowed to naturally shift as the wind and water moves them... when I was in high school I live in Clearwater Beach, Florida, and, I did a research paper on the importance of the barrier islands how they needed to be free to shift and change in a natural way to serve as protection for the land behind... and, I learned something new (the importance of the layers of naturally occurring sediments) with the information you shared here 👍

Another fascinating episode -- great job!. I look forward to each one. And the spiritual message: The earrings were lovely, thanks to the "artiste" that created them. And the beautiful seashells? An artiste created them as well. Neither the earrings nor the seashells just "happened." God is seen in His creation.

Love the videos! The 'example of a cuttlefish' at 8:34 is actually a squid. The 'floatie' as Aladino calls it (good name!) belongs to a cuttlefish. Wikipedia shows the difference fairly well. People eat squid/calamari, but I haven't come across cuttlefish being on the menu - maybe just not where I live...?!
@markbennett97873 жыл бұрын
I live in Brittany and seiche ( fr ) or morgad ( Breton) is widely available in supermarkets, it’s cheaper than squid but tastes similar and has the same texture.

I've never seen live cuttlefish in north Europe, only in a harbour in Tunisia. But their bones are everywhere and e bring them home because our parrot loves to wreck a cuttlefish bone, sometimes his cage looks like there has been an explosion in a meringue factory. It is a good source of calcium for him but I doubt there are many cuttlefish in the Amazon canopy so it is not natural for him to use them.

Interesting to see a 1950-54 Chevrolet pickup that far from the US. They weren't know for their gas mileage, so for it to have survived 70 years in such good shape it must be well loved by someone. Aladino even checked it out. LOL. Also, there's nothing sexier than a pretty girl in a men's button up shirt. Good job, Maya!
