Wow guys, it seems like yesterday when I stumbled upon your channel by accident. Back then (2017) I was just approaching electronic music for the first real time, right when future house was going viral, and I loved it. You were one of the first ever channels that I started following; thanks to you I discovered so many artists that I still follow now and so many songs that I play or have played or that I simply listen to and dance to in the shower (it's been since 2017 that every day I listen to all the songs you upload with that sense of euphoria and curiosity of being able to listen to tracks that could become my favorites adding to all the others and that accompany me in my everyday life). You have become part of my personal growth, and for that I will always be grateful. Again, super congratulations for all the professional and, why not, also personal achievements you have managed to achieve over the years with dedication and sweat, starting from being a simple dissemination channel to a real institution of the EDM sphere for artists and listeners. You are an example of how much a passion shared with friends, even outside the music sphere, can lead to accomplish great things. I am an electronic music lover from China. I still remember the first time I came into contact with future house music was in the summer of 2019.At that time, Sun Goes Down made by JRVO and Dallerium made me feel deeply.To be honest, it was the melody of House's music that touched me.Today, I saw the development history of future house music, and I couldn't help admiring the perseverance of Aart and Gino.It is because of them that we have created excellent brands that are booming today.Here I sincerely wish the 10th anniversary of the birth of future house music.🥰🎉

Love from Germany, what a journey! 8:55 wow, seeing the upload of Vox so early on. One of the most memorable tracks from back then! 18:45 of course, also one of the biggest bangers in this channels history :D Seeing Ali-A in the video, I wonder why there was no mention of Brass. At least from the outside, it seemed like him using that song as an intro (the song is still a 10/10 to this day in my opinion) went very viral and pushed the channel a lot in that time. Even though I don't listen to Future House as much as back in 2015-2018, I still have a big place in my heart for the genre and this channel and I can only thank this channel for forming my taste in music the way that it did. Oliver Heldens and Tchami continue to lurk in my Spotify Top 5 artists year by year. All the best Aart & Gino and good luck for the next 10 years! :)

@kudakwasherusere8150 Lyd actually means ‘sound’ in Norwegian. When looking for a new name for the rebranding of this sub-label, one of our team members (Thomas) suggested this. What was funny to us is that Dutch people would pronounce it as ‘Lied’, meaning ‘song’ in Dutch, and English people would pronounce it as ‘Lead (synth/melody/etc.)’. We thought that this word for ‘sound’ is universal and present in different languages and fell in love with it! Best, Gino 🫶

Well, it was quite clear to us there was a gap between big room/edm and deep house listeners in 2014. The OG future house sound was definitely the bridge between both sounds... but we NEVER imagined it would become one of the biggest dance genres worldwide! Lucky us 😉 Cheers, Aart
