UK Drill and NY drill sound similar. Pop smoke worked with a British producer called 808 Melo. He produced Welcome to the party, Dior, the Woo and some other big songs, which blew the ‘sound’ up. If Pop Smoke was alive, he would have bridged the gap even more than he did. It sucks we lost him so early. I really think he was special.

LD really put the foundations down for the UK drill scene. Really talks about what hes done hence all the charges and prison sscentnces. he is in a group called 67 that controlled the uk drill scene back in 2015-2017 and made Drill classics like Waps, redrum, lets lirk check em out. this is why He's considered the Godfather of drill.

LD and 67 been around since 2011-12. First in the uk to bring drill mainstream, long time before pop smoke. Also, I noticed a lot of Americans hear a reference to someone else in a song and are immediately thinking it's a diss even if the reference wasn't disrespectful. Trust me you will know diss when you hear one in UK drill. Most references are just references and usually are out of respect. LD has a song with Dizzee
