Hi Allan! Yes. Mr. Stephen here. You're making great progress and I'm proud of you! As you know, it's easy to feel overwhelmed with a new house, but you've been there before and know how to tackle it one project at a time. Great job on removing the old shed roof. Not an easy task! Have a great week and Happy New Year, Mr. Allan!❤

Hi Mr. Stephen! ❤ Thank you so much-it means a lot coming from you! You’re absolutely right, taking it one project at a time is the only way to stay sane with a new house. 🏡💪 The roof was definitely a challenge, but it feels so good to have it done! Now it’s onward to the next adventure. Wishing you an amazing week and a very Happy New Year, too! 🎉✨

Happy new year! Amazing work on garden og roofing! The unknown climper at the shed is Grapes 👍

Happy New Year! 🎉 Thank you so much-both the garden and the roofing have been a labor of love! 🏡🌱 Ah, grapes! 🍇 That’s so cool-I didn’t realize. They’re lovely, but I totally get wanting a climbing rose for the scent and beauty. 🌹

Happy New Year. I see you are jumping right in. Here in South Africa the asbestos roof sheeting is still everywhere. They haven't put any legislation in place to deal with it yet and people are still being very careless handling it. It's far better to get rid of it, it also deteriorates as it ages. ❤

Happy New Year! 🎉 It’s interesting to hear how things are handled in South Africa-it's such a different situation. You’re absolutely right; asbestos is no joke, especially as it ages and becomes more brittle. I feel lucky Denmark has such strict rules to keep everyone safe, even if it’s a bit of extra work! 💪 Here’s hoping more places adopt better handling practices soon. Thanks for watching and sharing your perspective! ❤🌍

Allan plant things at least 0.5 of a metre from any wall as otherwise they will be in the rain shadow of the roof & wall. x Happy New Year in your new home.

Thank you so much for the advice! 🌱 I’ll definitely keep that in mind for future planting-making sure they get enough rain and room to grow is so important. 🌧️✨ And Happy New Year to you too! 🎉 I’m so grateful to be starting this new chapter, and having tips like yours makes the journey even better. ❤😊

I really like your videos. I’m glad I’m on this journey with you, but could you make sure you put closed caption on them? I would appreciate it. Happy new year from New York City
@AllanTorpКүн бұрын
Thank you so much. I am not sure why it doesnt have caption tbh. It says in backend that it could take a while for KZbin to auto-generate it. Happy new year - and thanks for watching.

Hej Allan. En skruemaskine med en 11mm top, ville være betydelig nemmere og hurtigere. Skiftede mit tag på huset i 2017. Et trick hvis tag skruerne knækker: spænd tag skruen en lille smule inden den skrues af, så knækker den ikke😊
@AllanTorpКүн бұрын
Hej! Tak for tippet! 👏✨

Best of luck with your renovation projects! A lot of great potential there. (it might have just been the camera angle but it looked as if your rose was planted a bit low? Is it a grafted rose? Will you have guttering with new roofs?)
@AllanTorpКүн бұрын
Thank you so much for the kind wishes! 🌟 The potential is what keeps me motivated-so much to do, but I’m excited! About the rose, it’s not grafted, so I think it should be fine, but I’ll keep an eye on it to make sure it’s happy in its new spot. 🌹 As for the new roof, yes, I’ll definitely be adding guttering-it’ll help manage all that rain we get here. Thanks for noticing and sharing your thoughts! ❤😊
