Speaking of ASMR, his lectures that he uploads to his channel are what I use these days to fall asleep 😍

More people than one might think. I once heard a young graduate student in philosophy say of some of Edmund Husserl's writing, "It makes me tingle."

Kant hesitates before making commitments. He knows that this gets him attention, and he is aware that his views look irresponsible sometimes to his audience. Yet, Kant fights against those whom he feels misunderstand him by rationalizing his views. Kant has a sense of humor, on the other hand, because he loves that feedback others give to him which reinforces his own feeling of being right. Frege loves Kant because he knows that Kant is not always right. Hegel is not as sensitive to criticism, and his own strength is that he knows that he is right because his knowledge matters (at least) to him. Pierce develops an idea of the social, which James as well, further selects and adds his own developments. Yet, Pierce feels impatient with much of philosophy, which he feels becomes a block to progress, for much philosophy repeats what Pierce already knows, so he needs another method of action to go beyond such repetition. However, like all pragmatists, he still admits the importance of teachers and their human priority over even theories under construction.

Q/A session certainly showed that audience kept up well! Re: the Demarcation criteria: might not discerning objective potentials which are beyond our 'ecological niche' limits be a more Pragmatically focussed one than discursively giving reasons for such inferences? We go to the moon, animals don't!
