I don’t know many photographers who are documenting their friends and family who are dealing with crises such as drug use and gun violence, but I appreciate his perspective. Most people I have studied haven’t gone into great detail about their thoughts on the subject matter because they don’t want to offend or accidentally sensationalize the topic, but it’s so important for us to discuss our motivations and reasons for the work we create and share.

Easily one of the best episodes that I have seen on this channel. Brian is so articulate but also such a down to earth person. It's nice to hear him care about the people that he photographs such as the war veteran or the housing community in watts. You can tell that they are also very fond of him and respect the work that he does. His images of the community in watts are honestly so beautiful and humanistic. This is also one of the few episodes that I have seen from start to finish. Amazing episode

Pauly, as a fan who followed you for over a year, this is your best walkie yet! In this video with Brian, we got to see different worlds in 1 documentary video. To have that connection with the people of Watts was beautiful. They treated him with respect like part of the family. Plus, you walking along and meeting people, and they were cool with you! I hope you'll do this in NYC, too. This could be something and to be recognized for your amazing work! 👍🏾👏🏾 Also, I need a Pauly B Walkie Talkie tote bag for my gear! 👍🏾😀
