So funny about the old guy with the beautiful cleaning lady. I totally relate to his story about dating here. You’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t.

Myself i am always living on the edge of homelessnes. I work in the oilfields so i live in my own bumper pull trailer. I do well financially but just keep going where the work is. I also have a degree in communications arts. Never worked a day in my degree. I had a show i produced and hosted also did band interviews and live club DJ. We should start an xpat pirate radio station in the Philippines

3,000usd apartment in the US that is equivalent to 180k in the Philippines. That amount you can buy a house and lot in the suburbs areas but since you are a complete foreigner you are not allowed to own one not unless you are married to filipino but on the condo units foreigner can own solely.

But if you're married, it's partly about the money. My college roommate married A guy in radio and he never had a full time job . They are still poor and she has to work in Walmart and now take care of him since he's older and sick. They have 2 children with development disabilities so she has to take care of everyone

It is worth mentioning that Philippines, and Vatican City are the only countries, as of now, which have no divorce laws. So vet thoroughly about the legal implications of a long term relationship.

He mentioned Cabanatuan, which I know because of a good movie I saw called The Great Raid, based on true events during WWII where 500 American and Filipino prisoners were liberated from a Japanese POW camp there. No need to use RapidVisa or something like that to do the K-1, can do it all yourself and the USCIS website tells you exactly what to do. Don't need to pay them or an immigration lawyer or any of that. Must have cost so much because of the kids. Although you do have to meet in person once first and I chose to go back for her interview at the embassy and brought her back with me. 2016 was a good year for us fortunately, that's the year I went there and met her and brought her here.

Seems like a nice guy but his stories don't make sense. Homeless in 2016 then just a few years later spends 10k on trying to marry a Filipina? Also. Filipina dosen't want to answer questions then backs out of marriage last minute, even though she has 3 kids & obviously can use support? I'm waiting for Paul Harvey to pop up with " the rest of the story." Good Day.
