Great podcast, Jimbo, a DHG legend. I found the screen in the background a bit of a distraction 🙈

Ha ha well that was odd a few mins in to hear James and yourself chatting about Graham in Rotterdam. I am that chap, and yes you are both right… I watched the channel and yes do feel a kind of affinity with the personalities and styles, mainly because I think all the characters on the channel are being themselves and as a west country chap in exile the rapport is built more quickly. Btw James is an excellent coach and first class chap and I am looking forward to him helping me play some better golf. Great video, thanks both! Dan might recall I played the Sunday morning show theme for them on guitar a few years back!

Another great golfing story/journey, Dan. Very enjoyable watching you chat with James It goes to show there are many ups and downs in golf. I watch a local pro to me over these past few years who has just got back onto the challenge tour for next year through the clutch tour, he had a season or two on the main tour and similar on the challenge. Bur it goes to show how difficult it is to stay on the tours, you can have all the talent and game, but you need to keep your fitness, mental well being support from family and coach and above all that bit of luck...good luck to James for next year adventures 👍

Great interview, really honest and open and a lovely guy. Remember seeing him on one of your golf vlogs a few years ago, might have been the China Fleet GC one and really wasn’t sure about James and how he come across, think it just might have been nerves or not used to being filmed but since then I have really enjoyed watching and listening to him on your vlogs and he now comes across so well. Great VLOG.

The Darren Clarke comments remind me that pro golf is ultimately an entertainment product. Without the fans, there's no tournament to be grumpy about. Good on James for stopping to chat with the kids!

Great insight once again Dan. Seen James a few times on the channel but now feel so much more connected now knowing his back story, and all the struggles of trying to make it on tour. Keep going James and thanks again Dan for a great interview 👍

About five or six years ago atYelverton - my elderly father and I played with/against Mr. Ruth in a 4 ball competition I had no idea who he was - he played fabulous golf but more importantly he was an absolute gent to myself and Dad - and we are just handicapped hackers good luck to you, Mr. Ruth you deserve it.👍

Brilliant. Had the absolute pleasure of James' company at a Woodbury park pro am. Super open bloke. Very positive and helpful. Pro sport can be a very tough place. Keep going. For what it's worth your swing looked pretty damn good from my vantage point. and best of all a mighty Red too!!!?

That was so interesting. There's a lot more to this pro golf malarkey than meets the eye. So disappointing to hear Darren Clarke is an arse. Here's hoping James gets the rewards all his hard work deserves.
