Watching the recent conflicts like the Nagorno-Karabakh war and the ongoing Ukraine-Russia war, it's clear that drone warfare has completely changed the game. Azerbaijan’s use of Bayraktar TB2 drones in 2020 showed how devastating drones can be, wiping out heavy artillery and armored vehicles with precision. Ukraine has also used drones to great effect, combining them with modern tactics to outsmart larger forces. For Pakistan, this is a wake-up call. While artillery has its role, the future is in drones. They’re more precise, cost-effective, and reduce risk to soldiers. Drones can provide real-time intelligence, hit targets with surgical accuracy, and even operate in tough terrains where traditional artillery struggles. If the Pakistan Army invests heavily in drone technology, it can revolutionize its defense strategy and even gain an edge in modern warfare. It’s time to think ahead!
