Awesome brass brick brother! (Try saying that 5 times fast 🤣) In all honesty, I hardly use borax on brass for the sole reason that it is an alloy, I have no idea if it matters or not, just my own preference. Love the bottom side finish, how long did the cleanup take from start to finish? Great job brother as always! 🙂👊🏼👍🏼🍻

Thanks brother! 🤣. I bought the bucket, I’m using it😂. Don’t know either if it helps a lot. Thanks man! I think about an hour of work, I took my time on it😉. Thanks brother😃 and thank you for watching!!👊🏻🍻

@@SJWCASTING I’m sure it helps, just don’t use too much of it especially with copper. Makes the copper look discolored from my experience. It also clings to the crucible. I never clean my crucibles as that’s just material left for the next melt. That and I’m a lazy caster 🤣. Good show my man, keep the vids coming!
@SJWCASTING Жыл бұрын
Oh no, I’m never using it for copper no more😅. I know, shit’s tough🤣. Haha, I try to keep the crucibles as clean as possible 😉. Haha🤣. Thanks bud! I will😁

I like this so much. I hope i have the time this year to start it by myself to produce ingots. I collected round about 800 kg on copper wire over the last ten years .... what do you think how long it need to mold it 😬
@SJWCASTING Жыл бұрын
I’m glad you like it😁. What!!! 800KG!!!😱 I’m jealous!! It depends on how much you can melt everyday for the next year😂. Is it all stripped?
@ktc3619 Жыл бұрын
@@SJWCASTING yes of course 😉 The Last 250 kg i get from a wrecked 6meter long cnc mill It taked me over one year to strip all the wires ....
@SJWCASTING Жыл бұрын
@@ktc3619 damn😅. I thought I had lots of wire🤣. So you plan to make it all into ingots?
@ktc3619 Жыл бұрын
@@SJWCASTING Sure I think so. My zinc are in ingots, this was eine kn a fire barrel an i have 105 of them but it is not enough for copper
@SJWCASTING Жыл бұрын
Oh wow😯. Keep me updated when you start melting the copper😁.
