Joey, you're doing an awesome thing by bringing us these light novel authors. It's really nice to know that they're relatable to. Instead of just being these mysterious figures, who can pump out hits. It's feels nice to know that they try hard and fail just like we do. Idk if this sounds weird but, thanks a lot man, keep it up.

Leon Alex it kinda makes sense though, he isn't that famous so people aren't gonna stalk him down. Then there's the creator of konosuba, and his anime was one of the best anime of its season, meaning popularity, meaning larger group of people, meaning more potential stalkers. also it's probably about modesty and Sow probably doesnt care given his easy going nature

came here after reading 3 free chapters, its not comedy so its probably not as funny as the author.. its more about the situation and drama around the ex-soldier and the people around him and the robot girl who come to work for him... but damn it was interesting, enjoyable, pretty heartwarming... in these time where there are a lot of fantasy, harem , isekai genre in light novel, something different like this is really nice to read... really considering to buy if i have some money at the end of the month....

And SOLD! For full price, I might mention, although, I do appreciate the generous offer thanks to your collaboration. Pretty excited to not have to wait for a book to ship for once! I was already intrigued by the synopsis and premise presented by most places, but that extra tidbit Bookwalker gives is especially interesting and helps to build the world and make it all feel more grounded with just a few extra words! As many have already said, thank you, as well as SOW and BW for producing this. Otherwise my friend wouldn't have known to tell me about it and I may not have gotten to know this story for a long, long time.

I don't really comment much on videos but I am loving these interviews Joey. For an inspiring author like me, these interviews are like gold. It's also really nice to see his thought process about how he came up with the characters and how he failed but succeeded (as I can relate because I have like ten ongoing series that are mostly dropped because of writer's block or my laziness). Just from the synopsis alone Sow Sensei gave, I really need to read this series. It's a fresh new light novel idea that's not based on RPG reincarnation another world stuff or highschool romance. Maybe this will be a Josei titled one because of the chill atmosphere or a Seinen one I don't know. But Joey if you ever see this comment, do you think it is possible for an American or Western foreigner to make their own light novel series that's not made in Japan? I can't wait to check this series out.

Dragon's Beard Gamer He's got a million subscribers, most of which are outside Japan and he can actually speak japanese. He's the biggest anime KZbinr that can actually talk to these authors while reaching the perfect target demographic.

It's more because bookwalker gets in touch with these authors for him. It's very unlikely he himself reached out to them. However a company selling the author's books would more likely be the source of these contacts and thus interviews.

melodyofkanade That's true, but Book Walker chose Joey because he has the perfect channel and audience to do this.

He's sponsored by Book Walker, so they are able to hook him up with these interviews while they both promote the light novel authors and drive some sales to Book Walker. And we get cool interviews and discounts such as these. *Everyone* wins this way. It's actually quite damning how Joey figured out this sort of system instead of heavily relying on Patreon or ad revenue.
