It felt like a good day for this one. My goodness, that view of the Great Mosque (1:44) was stunning. Gold and black is always such a striking combination. I don't think I've seen micrography before - at least not in formal artwork. It reminds me of something a person would do while doodling in their journal - that I have seen. It's so elaborate, intricate, and lovely in this instance, though. Hidur mitzvah was definitely worth the effort. I loved seeing the detail on the Gothic influences. What a revelation it must've been to see these innovations added to the scriptures for the first time. Mikdashyah rings true for me today.
