I am not trying to be rude or negative, but as a freedom lover, I really do think it's important to understand how this works, if we want to evolve as human beings. Basically what he is saying at the start, is that he is still going after the childhood pride he felt when other children were impressed with the car that brought him to school. That is a childish notion, which is often cleverly translated into a more mature story when people grow up, but it's still the same thing. And those who have a different kind of childhood experiences, may very well not have the right subconscious patterns to become rich like him, and following his example will not work for them. My point is, that the most (so-called) successful people (within our current success paradigms) are often driven by childhood notions and traumas that have turned into subconscious goto patterns, just like the rest of the people. The only difference is that successful people have learned these specific behavioral patterns based on their specific childhood experiences, but the principles are the same. Two things drive them (and the vast majority), namely unconscious instinctive fears and desires. Both drives make them prisoners in the sense that they don't know how to escape from them. Their (moments of) happiness still depend on the results of their childhood notions, which means they are actually only trying to relive the past over and over again, while they are unable to make truly free choices in the here and now. The idea of financial freedom, for example, is a kind of pseudo-freedom that depends on your financial circumstances, while inner freedom does not depend on any circumstances. People chase after these often difficult to reach goals, only to find out that the fear and desire impulses that got them there never stop. It will never be enough because the pleasure it gives is temporary. It's very much like a drug addiction; the more often you get high, the less the effect it has on you, and the more desperate the addict becomes for a new high. Most drug addictions are the consequences of childhood trauma (see Gabor Maté). The addiction is a kind of running away from the inner trauma through external means, which in many ways resembles the 'I wanna be rich', or 'I wanna be famous' addiction, for example. The inner pseudo-needs created during our childhood, are not actual needs anymore when we are adults, but they still feel that way to us because of our lack of true awareness when it comes to our childhood experiences. True freedom lies in (regularly) bringing these subconscious patterns and their accompanying emotions to full awareness without judgment or engagement, and learn to not depend on them anymore for you happiness here and now.

Everyone is different and learning comes with life as we know . There is no one answer that can express everyone's thoughts and experiences because ultimately we dont know We choose to find a path and we travel it .

This should be taken as learning a different way of going through life, and not as a thing you do a couple of weeks to get rid of something. How this works best for the individual is a different story. This also depends on the particular childhood issues that one is dealing with. A more general and quite accessible approach is offered by Eckhart Tolle, for example, but it will not be the best way for everyone. His 'method' is based on finding and experiencing the core awareness from which the mind can be observed without judgment or engagement. The advantage of his explanations is that it tends to come with a sense of humor which makes it much lighter and bearable to go through the process. Another advantage is that it can offer more inner peace directly from the start.

Looking at the products and how outrageously overpriced they are, I would say that if it can be considered a $100 million business, it could quickly turn into a $5 million or $500 million business. Popular brands can become insignificant very fast. The products are very mediocre and horrendously overpriced. 150 Euro for a pair of shorts !!! Fashion and trends change quickly. I would not feel comfortable selling those products at those prices at all.

I got demotivated with this podcast. Sadly my life has been a lot of trauma and abuse. Since childhood into adulthood. I'm 38 and trying to snap out of depression and see that there is something to live for. Your videos often motivate me but then seeing that I will have to work hard for 10 years before seeing results means I will be nearly 50 by time I have a life and that's if I make it. Wish my life wasnt so crap that I wasted all my life and only now trying to get out of this hole. I've left it too late. Hope others dont do what I did. I'm really kicking myself now. Every day, one step at a time. Get a journal, write everything down. Motivate yourself. Good ideas are fleeting. Write them down and review later. Your motivation is within you. Join positive groups and be perky and light for others. Fake it until you make it.

You cannot think so big and so far in the future. You just try to improve what you are doing, and grow incrementally. People do not have to spend Years failing and then suddenly they grow huge. It is more like, they continue to grow and then look back and see how far they have come. Also, does not have to take 10yrs. My 1st business, I began as a teenager, and was making great money within 2 yrs. Though I did eventually go out of business about 12yrs later and then it did take some time to grow the next business, but that was due more to health issues. To be honest? If you are not improving and growing in a business, sometimes it is best to stop and start fresh.

I love this podcast, and these are the episodes that initially got me involved. No offence to any of the recent guests, but it got to the point it felt like every other week was some “expert” nutritionist - with contradictory advice to that of the previous week. The CEO episodes are excellent 😎

Kudos to the guy for doing what he's done - it sounds like an uphill slog. It really does. I can't help but take away that this lad was able to go 'balls to the wall' as a kid and do this because he had familial privilege to back him up. He was never at risk of being homeless or losing all of the basics necessary for survival. That's not the story the vast majority of us grew up with. That's not to say he didn't work his ass off, and that's not to say he doesn't deserve his success. It's just not the reality for most of us. The bit about working through burnout worries me. It's actually pretty dangerous advice to throw out to the public. Please don't feel ashamed if you've suffered burnout and needed time to recover. This guy claims to have 'worked through it', but others have taken their own lives. Burnout is serious, miserable, and deeply traumatic - do what you need to do to be OK. There's never any shame and certainly no bravado to be had working yourself into the ground during a mental health crisis. Overall, the feeling I get from this guy is that he seems quite unhappy. I've never felt as though I needed a shower after listening to an interview before.
