What if you don’t want a shiny finish but would like the protection? The Wolf has Olive Drab NIR (non-infra-red), which is a matte finish…? I don’t need Wombat’s fuel bill, but the Dirty 130 is back up for raffle, I’m 100% in, I so need that 130 in my life. All though I'm based in the UK like Micheal and Joseph I'm about to head home. Why can't Micheal export the vehicle to Australia? Just asking because I would split me time between New Zealand and Australia and my standard car seems to be no issues exporting it to either country.

The issue with America is the 25 year thing they don’t allow young cars in to protect their car manufacturers. Not sure what the rules are for Australia but Michael just wanted the car for when he was in the uk, he’s not looking to take it back and asked Mahker to help sell it

Santana has the license to produce cars from Land Rover...so did Iveco for their Massif

Iveco bought the rights from the defunct Santana. The looks were an issue with the Santana when for sale despite undercutting the Defender in price by over £5k IRC. Very easy to swap out the odd design aspects of the Santana though and have a Defender look alike that for some was considered a better car than its more popular LR equivalent - payload - it would also take a full size pallet and engines were widely regarded as such in period by those who had both which were mostly farmers btw.

I should correct myself it was Px into me from a build we sold to a client I love what bowler sell exterior style wise so we added a 330d to a bowler 90 which is now mine

Joseph sounds like a nice man but why did he buy 10 tickets for a car he cannot use? Similarly given the notional £95k value of Dirty' why not sell the car and for openess not back to you Dave. Not sure its all adding up - Reads almost like Double Bubble and if I am being honest not entirely Kosher. With raffles this kind of thing does not help confidence. Sorry and all that - I guess you might have expected some cynical old sod to pipe this one up though?

Honestly quite offended that you’d suggest such a thing. Joseph hadn’t realised the implications of importing/exporting a vehicle into the USA and it turns out that due to its age it’s not allowed to go there. We’re using our social media size to help him re-raffle the car and he’s putting the money to having upgrades done to his vehicle which can be taken to the US. Joseph is a really nice guy and wants the car to someone like himself who couldn’t afford to buy the car but can afford a raffle ticket.

I can guarantee that there is nothing dodgy about it, as I happened to be down the work shop checking on my build on a Saturday morning when Joseph arrived, very nice genuine chap who was super interested in my American powered ls3 conversion. And explained his predicament. Sad that people are so quick to think bad of Dave looking to help someone out😔

I saw my post as an opportunity for Mahker to respond and in doing so remove any doubts held by viewers. This they have done. We are all grown ups and raffling off £100k of anything is not chump change and needs to be beyond criticism.
