When you put outside light also running line from casino to jack should be another 20 amps line, just like you did these and other switch and to the box. Never have enough circuits for fire.

He Joel, I had my husband who is a commercial electrician take a look at your video...no more than 16 things per run(switches, light, fans) per 12gauge wire, 22 things per 10gauge wire....you need a couple more runs. also a 20amp breaker per run for 12g, 30amp per run for 10g wire...no fires please!

Joel 10 gauge is rated for 240 volts. It usually takes a 30 amp breaker. 12 gauge is for outlets and switches ( 120 volts ). You shouldnt run romex through conduit. the heat buildup. It needs to be stranded wire and doesnt take up more then 40% of the conduit space. Not sure how big your main panel is but you need more breakers to run the lights and outlets/ receptacles. Even with LED you might have too many on a single run. I dont mean to critize just dont want you to have a fire

@@dillangeiser4820 The real problem is that since this is a commercial building, it requires a licensed electrician. This isn't like a homeowner wiring their own house. It's not illegal to run Romex through conduit. It's just not normal practice. I wouldn't be showing anymore DIY wiring videos. Your insurance company will refuse to pay, and if your local fire Marshall sees these videos, he could shut down your entire stable.

Had a beard/goatee since I was 20 back in 1993. The only time it ever bothers me is when I razor it to the skin(neck, sideburns, cheeks, etc), then let it grow longer. It makes the hairs sharper and more pokie as they get longer. If instead I use a hair/beard trimmer and just buzz it close to the skin, it never bothers me usually.
@kencotton4645
@kencotton4645 Ай бұрын
I’m sure lots of folks pointed it out, but you had 14 gauge wire before. 10 gauge is bigger than 12, the lower the number, the bigger the wire. For a 20-amp circuit that long, you could have run 10-gauge to have even less line loss. But the 12 is better than the 14 you had.

Atleast you can do your electrical work Joel, we cant we have to use qualified Electrians which can be costly. I just had 2 Fluro lights replaced with LED ones and it cost me $375 and that only was taking down the old ones and using the same wiring to fit the new about 30 minutes work. You can do it but you wont bve covered by your insurance if something goes wrong.

With all the concerns in the comments, i thought I'd ask ... do you have any sort of electrical training via schooling or journeyman skills for doing the power job's or is there a family member with the knowledge that you run stuff, like upgrade by &/or that checks afterwards to make sure you did it right? I'm just curious as I've help run conduit & wire b4, but I'm not confident or knowledgeable enough to do it & trust that it'll pass. I figured on the projects I've been apart of, I'd let my dad or hubby get zapped, my hearts been zapped enough by hot wire, don't need 110 working its magic. Great job with all the grades you guys are doing. 😊

10Ga is larger than 12. So if going from 10 to 12, you will increase your resistance, not lower it. Did you mean to say the original wire was 14? Which should have only been on a 15A ckt.
