I realize this might sound a little drastic and maybe even stupid to you but I am a guy and am not transgender (nor have an inclination to be), but I can not express how emotional your video made me. I was literally fighting back tears because of the hope/happiness I could see on your face throughout your ordeal, and the strength you show is just so inspiring and amazing. I am really happy for you, for the great (and very handsome!) guy that you are and knowing that you are out there living your life in the world as you made it makes me feel hopeful for us all. I would give you a big hug if I could, but this has to be it I guess. May you be happy always brother!

In my opinion I believe that God is a conscience of sorts. It makes people feels better to feel as though some on is listening and helping them, when in reality it is just a coping mechanism out of fear of what is beyond. But I also believe that the only way to get things done is doing it on your own. I'm not positive if god exists (no one is) but I am positive that if god is real and believes in everything awful Christians say god believes in, I want nothing to do with god. So you believe their is a god, I won't.

Rick Carter We are in America, and frankly your god is a false profit. It was made by men to control women, lock them up, to destroy sex "including circumcision", happiness and free will.. Shame on you for dismissing your true gods ands treating others like the crap you are. Doesn't your religion state not to judge others. Quit projecting you're problems onto others. Hail Oden. May Aydian love a Happy and joy filed life.

I watch you all the time and as much as I try not to I wonder if I will ever look like you, Ty and Chase or if you are all just these unattainable goals. Then I looked at the still, just the still for this video, you must have been Pre-T and you looked a lot like me. Basically an average guy with beautiful eyes and I realized there's nothing special, you just started ahead of me and put in the work. Now I have to then I'll be there with you. I think it's easy for us Pre-T guys to think we'll never get there, that we won't look like that, but we will. Thank you for sharing your journey with us, thank you for being you, without our people like you it would be so much harder to be me.

I don't really know what to say that'll really convey what I'm feeling after watching this. Proud of you, maybe? That's not enough (and it sounds patronizing even though I don't mean it that way). I can't really find the words but it's incredibly moving to watch as you become YOU. I've never felt what you must have felt your entire life until now, so I can't image what it's been like for you. But to watch you evolve so beautifully, and to see the confidence and happiness you seem to be feeling now, has moved me to tears. So forgive me if there are typos...I can't quite see my screen. :-) And thank you for sharing so much information. You are helping a lot of people improve their lives and be the person they should be. You are a hero and I love you.

This is amazing! I can't believe what a change hormones like testosterone can do to the body. The thought that everyone male or female is born the exact same and that all humans start out as female until hormones are introduced in utero, (or for some later on in life) and than start the body developing as male, never ceases to amaze me. When i hear people say "either your born male or female and that's that, it cant change" i think of the amazing ability of the body to change dependant on a few chemicals or hormones, and how easy it could have been for you or others to develop male at birth. It frustrates me to no end when i hear people say "oh yeah well i identify as an attack helicopter, or a giraffe" and they all miss the one major point... Human beings have the ability to develop male, female, transgender, cisender, intersex, etc.. but humans do not have a "helicopter DNA molecule" or a "giraffe default setting" One is an option whereas the other isnt. This journey you have shown us, proves that the development of the human body comes down to a few hormones here and there, and that you or anyone could have been born with the testosterone that would have made you genetically male to begin with, or that it can be added later, and the body will still respond. Every man on this planet begun their journey as female, until the addition of hormones changed their path, and the clitoris becomes the penis, the vulva becomes the scrotal sac, etc.. (though men still retain nipples after this change) all men have female origins until the addition of hormones changed their body. You just experienced this change later in life than most men :D

Arishawa Rae The very definition of a transgender person is that their gender (brain wiring) is different than the sex of their body. The whole point of a trans male, is that they have the brain of a male, regardless of their female body. So yes you are right men and women are different, male and female brains are physically different, but a trans persons brain is wired to be the opposite sex, that is why the body is generally altered to suit the mind, not the other way around. Trying to change the mind to suit the body is disastrous and does not work. However changing the body to match the brain is the best course of action for most trans people. I appreciate that you have been very polite in your comment, but one thing i will say is whether or not a penis functions normally does not make a man. Yes in general a woman is defined as the sex with the ovum, and male defined as the sex producing sperm. However even some cisgender people do not meet this criteria. What about men who do not produce sperm, or have erectile dysfunction, or in some way have their genitalia damaged or removed completely. They do not cease to be men. Also when you say the body will not function normally after hormone replacement because every cell is designed to be a certain way...well that's the beauty of hormones, once testosterone of estrogen are introduced to the system, than the system WILL function in the desired way. The body is quite amazing in how it will respond. Hormones themselves are natural, and the body simply responds to the given hormones.
@NymphetaminexXxGrrrl
@NymphetaminexXxGrrrl 7 жыл бұрын
Arishawa Rae As you said everyone has their opinion. I generally try to make a distinction between fact and opinion. Fetuses in the womb don't exactly have access to social media, from the studies i have seen it is hormones produced by the mother and absorbed by the baby in utero that define whether or not the fetal tissue develops male or female. The process is complicated and occasionally a fetus develops one way in the body (sex) and another way in the brain(gender) i do not believe that gender is a social construct. If that were true trans people wouldn't exist. Think about it... a child born with a penis is declared male at birth and put in blue male clothes and given trucks and sports equipment and while all social expectations and advertising expect and even demand they be male, they just automatically feel and respond as female. There was a very sad but telling story about this. David Reimer. look him up on google. Two twin boys were born and a botched circumcision left one boy without a penis. So they gave him a sex change as a newborn infant, and raised him as a girl in pretty little dresses and female hormones with a vagina and even his brother always grew up believing that was his "sister" So if gender is "as you say" a "social construct" than why would this boy raised as a girl being treated as female and had a complete female upbringing, and no knowledge of "her" intended male sex. Why did this "girl" always feel wrong and hate her body and somehow feel that she was supposed to be a boy? You see trans people often fight against what society wants/expects. So to say they form their gender based off what they are taught just doesn't work. As no amount of teaching someone to be one sex will change what they feel inside (as a result of brain development in utero) science strongly suggests gender is formed in utero before the child is even born. So no matter what messages this child receives in the world they respond to it with either a male brain or a female brain (whichever one they are born with)

Actually I would like to do the same thing, but agreement and opion of parents is a very major concern. Although the pain is surely unbearable, still, I don't wanna ruin the relationship... Therefore, I'm really happy to see your success and thank you for sharing all of these.
