I really apprecieate the running theme of your channel being that each video focuses on a single ingredient, but you use it to prepare various dishes from that one ingredient. I think there's something magical about preparing a meal using something in each application in different ways and tasting this ingredient with different flavors all at once in one meal.

I dream of having a kitchen and dining room with a view like hers! 😍 Though I’m quite grossed out by the idea of eating cow leather 😩, the whole process was presented so beautifully by her. It makes me think of doing similar things with chicken or pig skin instead. Also a reminder of a key aspect common across all Asian cultures of not leaving anything to waste 😊👍

I'm from the US and at most we just use our cow hide for leather. Almost no one here eats it and honestly when I saw the thumbnail, I thought it was about making home-made leather. Little different from the channel main of cooking but thought something new. Then boom, cooking it. To me, this is the best way to honor the death of an animal, use all parts. In the US, I feel so much offal, skin, bones, etc is just tossed when there are people starving, could take a page from the Asian cookbook and start eating the unpopular things.

Trust me the slaughter houses sell every piece of that animal, just to different buyers. Asian grocers, Mexican grocers ect ect. They will find a market

Я тоже, хотя из Бурятии, тут от коровы практически ни чего не выбрасывается, всё используют, но шкура идёт на выделку, сейчас конечно сдают на кожевенные заводы, а раньше сами делали. Холодец прикольный.

if i may give a suggestion for fried skin. fry the skin in 2 frying pans, first fry in warm oil, second in hot oil. it will produce skin crackers that are blooming and crunchy

А сшить ботинки из кожи или сумку не пробовали? Я вообще слышала, что кожу выделывают и из неё много потом шьют: куртки, ремни, сумки, обувь, кошельки. А едят уже готовые изделия при кораблекрушениях или в другой тяжёлой ситуации. В книгах про приключения так пишут, в блокадном Ленинграде ели..... Но в мирное время ? Боже, СПАСИ и сохрани нас!
