I think the "banshee" is actually Fatima's friend Nadia. She speaks to Elgin about her a bit in season two when he asks about the Brundels. I think she died and Fatima inherited her kimonos and she wears them in honor of her friend.

Sure that could definitely be it, either way the banshee must have some connection with Elgin. It was interesting that he was crocheting with a grandmother, like he told Sara. But for now I think she is trying to tell him something. Great comments!

I think Elgin's grandma escaped Fromville and told him stories about the place when he would come to visit her in the old folks home each weekend. I think Elgin's "special knowledge" comes from half remembering what he thought was an old lady's babbling.

Love the show. My question is the tree. They all stop at the tree. The little boy climbed on it but they left when the crows came. What would happen if they tried walking past it? Would there be some sort of force field that would allow them to not get past it? Just a thought.

So the town Camden is built in the area that belonged to the The Penobscot Nation. There's a whole history of conflict with settlers there. They also speak Algonquin. I thiught of thr wendigo myth in season 1, but we've never seen these monsters eat anybody. We've actually seen them spit body parts out (Kevin and thr tongue) . We still don't know what they do with the internal organs. Smiley had nothing in his system when they opened him up. I think they gut the people and take their entrails some where to be given to something.

First of all am going right back to the last clue I saw in season 2, that also started this season that everyone seems to have forgotten... When Tabitha looks out the window in the hospital room the reflection is not hers!! They made sure to show us that scene again...And am gonna keep beating that horse till am proven wrong 🤦🏾‍♂️ & if I am, am coming back to take my licks 😂 The fact that the boy in white brought her to that specific town that Victor is from and his father still reside makes me think Victor and his fam are at the center of what is going on. The town is definitely shifting gears and turning things up and I think its because of Boyd. Remember that when Boyd and his fam arrived people in the town were hiding in holes at night until Boyd found the talismans. They grew their own food and it was said that the animals actually walked out of the woods. So its almost like the town had a balance with them as long as they stayed in at nights. But then Boyd started searching deeper and going places and speaking to prisoners in dungeons and even went as far as to kill one of the monsters. And that's when I think major changes started happening. And its gonna get way worse. I don't think the powers that be were initially trying to break the people or else the monsters would have killed all the animals already. I think Boyd and maybe even Tabitha & the boy in white has triggered something

Okay lol so first things first it's definitely Tabitha's reflection lol I think that the town pushes and as they adapt it ramps things up. The town changes tactics as the people get adapt. They make it clear the goal is to break them. I think if they break them the town owns them, like the hotel in The Shining. I'm not sure Victor or his family are the cause, but they are definitely in the spotlight for this cycle. Maybe Victor not dying that day delayed the next cycle from occurring. Oh and...... It's Tabitha's reflection 😂😂

I think it's the sun light giving it that look, but we will see 👍🏻 I think we will definitely get some, we learned a lot this episode. For example we know you can bring items with you between realms, let's is know it's a physical place and since the hospital didn't take from her, they probably don't know anything about it. The answers may also come in the form of disproving things. But I think they will definitely get answers, I'm pumped for this season.

Yeah I think it's gradual and if you're open to it the Evil can really get its claws in you. Like Jack Torrance in the Shining. I think Sara may have what taken the first step by killing Toby and then taking his tongue, but I think she was told to eat the tongue.

The tree branch 'claw' appeared in season 1 in the RV when Boyd was trying to save Jim and Ethan. If you go scene to scene, the branch seems to stretch out and the end becomes a claw hand reaching for Ethan. It even has Tabitha's bracelet on it. It is absolutely evil.

I believe that the knock was a somebody or something that will help them, I think that we will get to see a new idea brought to the show that will help Jim and Kenny figure out what’s going, also I believe those stick figure manikin things outside the campsite are deterrents from the monsters. I think this campsite is gonna show some very useful help to Kenny and Jim

Its a fair question, for the most part you need to be in an enclosed space or at least semi enclosed. So a full town barrier is probably not an option. We know that Ellis has one drawn on his pants, but you are right they could try to test one out. Maybe that will be something that happens in S3.

Watch the series from the beginning. Every death happens before and because of an event before. Kenny’s mom dies after something goes on with the animals, same as the daytime with her being assaulted at the diner and then the man taking the goat. The tech guy goes into the dungeon (box), Guy later dies in a box. Every death comes before. The story Julie gives Ethan in the beginning is the key. “The fairies killed him in the lake of tears, he’s dead and not coming back” then Tabitha says to Ethan “monsters aren’t real so he isn’t dead.” My thoughts are the monsters are fairies and somehow not real. Also, Kenny states in ep3 they don’t know where the cows and chicken come from. So I say they can eat the animals and more somehow show up. Two car crashes hasn’t happened before so it’s ramped up. Per victor saying so. Something about looking up and the puzzle is in every house. The tech guy says to Kenny “is there a clue in every house”. 2 seasons later he is looking up and the strings on the floor. The ravens are key.

I’m not sure I see the pattern of events/death pattern, but I’ll keep an eye out 👍🏻 Fairies may very well be part of the show, however the opening scene is about the fairies coming to hell after the monsters killed Norman. So they may exist in the Fromverse, but in a neutral or positive aspect. Yeah they don’t know where the animals come from, but I don’t think they were going to get more, the Evil or something poisoning the soil makes me think their free ride has been cut short. Victor does say the car crash is significant, however he says that has not happened in a long time, not ever. So it seems like a cycle or string of events was started on that day, maybe ending in the massacre we see in his flashback. Thanks for the comment!!!

Maybe this iteration of Fromville is different from the rest because the BinW was the replacement from the group that we see as Monsters, but Victor was never substituted so all of the town were not released from the town?! @@thescreensleuthsI think Michael might be leading another life to redeem himself but that’s my head canon though. I think they might tie bank to the island because both places seem to be mirror verses of each other, similar but opposite. A monster runs from instead of the boy of white so evil is more prevalent. Jacob ran the island and the smoke monster trying to overthrow him so good was more dominant. I think there is always two players dark and light will play in it at least ands it’s going to be about people coming together to overcome themselves and the darkness. This also my theory the island is closer to heaven and From is more connected to hell but both are testing grounds. I could be wrong and it’s going to be a whole separate story. 😊

I have noticed that we need to pay attention to the background!!! If you notice when they're looking out the window at the hospital all of the trees are green. they have leaves all over them. the weather looks beautiful. But for some reason the SAME DAY that she left the hospital and was walking around in town you notice the colorful background on the buildings where she's standing but then you notice in the left hand corner the trees look dead!!!! 😮. When they show FROMVILLE where the scare crows were discovered near the cabins, the trees have that same dead look.

Miranda painted the pictures in the basement not Eloise. what happened if Eloise got pushed out the lighthouse and went back to the real world somewhere else and was raised by a different family/ culture hence the accent. Yea that's what I was thinking. I think maybe she was found in a far away town and lost her memory from the fall, so she was never able to find her family and she went to live with a new hispanic family who adopted her. So far we don't know much about her family but in this show I wouldn't be surprised as there seem to be many connections and all connected somehow due to their roles.

Impossible to have time at the same rate unless Victor is not Victor. Tabitha could have been gone for 5 years in the real world. This episode doesn’t prove that time is the same. If anything Victor’s dad’s age proves that there is a time difference.

Both the town and the Dr tell us Tabitha has been gone for 3 days. Her conversation with her mother was not that of someone who was pronounced dead, it sounded like someone still holding hope. Victors father is 73 in real life and Victor is 53 in real life. That alone means it is possible, but Victor living in the most stressful environment on the planet (maybe planet lol) would certainly age him, like a President pre and post term. We are not saying there is no time manipulation, but from the evidence provided time seems to work at the same rate. These people have not been gone for years.

So far it's proven to be the same, especially for Victor's case. Even the real age of the actors show that year difference is moving along at same rate. Victor has been in Fromville about 40 ish years and he got there around 10 and dad said he had it around late 20s i think and he's late 60s to early 70s

Time is different. The doctor said Tabitha had been in a coma for ten days- while they specify it's been THREE days in town. Thirteen days total? Probably a stretch. Outside the hospital is an ambulance with the same number on it as the ambulance in the season three trailer- so I'm guessing Tabby gets back to town in that ambulance with the new paramedic character we also see in the trailer. The town keeps FIFTY people at all times- so expect replacements for Reggie (the idiot that Boyd shot) and Mrs.Leiu.

That's fair, for the most part time seems to work about the same. In other words they didn't come out and 10 yrs passed. I don't think Tabitha comes back this season, I think she will find a way back, the entrance to the town. Yeah the ambulance 🚑 thing is cool, I am curious to know if the driver is at a crossroads like the others that find themselves there. I'm not sure if there is a set number or if they need to be replaced, but I can see how people think that with the bus coming after the massacre.

Actually I just re-watched and the Dr told Tabitha hikers found her 3 days ago. So she has been unconscious for the same amount of time that passed in the town. However the seasons are backwards, most things seem backwards...

Victor's address in the lunchbox, causes an issue. The Hospital would have checked inside the lunchbox and seen the address. The Hospital would have contacted Victor's dad first. This means one of two things. 1 being the "real world " that Tabatha is in isn't real at all and just an extension of from town 2 or it means the writers are sloppy and you can't take any clues from anything and just need to let the story tell its self.

Dr Brody in the show says she has no identification, so this is addressed. If the address was on the outside of the lunchbox then maybe it would be more of an issue for me, than inside. I think this is the real world and the town is connected, but them not finding the address is not sloppy writing. If every show did everything right then most would be pretty boring. A nurse wouldn't have told the Dr the cops were coming in front of a patient or the guard rails on the bed would have been up the whole time. But the fact that they weren't doesn't mean we should write off everything in the show.

@highcountryhick but this isn't the real world, it's a TV show. Some things need to be plot driven, this show may be a lot of things, but sloppy writing isn't one of them. It takes a lot of time to web this size mystery together. If they need to have the address overlooked to forward the story so be it, it seems like a more level issue. But to each their own 👍🏻

As I said, it might not be sloppy writing, it may be a hint that Tabatha isn't really back to the normal world. She did see the boy in white and the Priest ask her. " what "He" packed " just before she found the address. At this point in time it is impossible to know either way. Cheers

If they leave town during the day they can get away far enough from the monsters, I don't think the monsters would leave that town and their under ground shelter to follow them far away.

Absolutely, we know that one of the ideas of what the monsters could be is bad fairies as well, so there is a possibility that could be a direction they take us in!
