Really cool to see the operation, however you could probably grow 10x more lettuce in the same amount of space if you set your farm up vertically, would be a lot more expensive to set up though. If you need to expand, instead of getting another greenhouse you should definitely start growing vertically. It would be very interesting to see the costs vs sales and how much profit you make too.

Great video, definitely subscribe king, always looking for like minds. recently started a hydroponics business and getting different packaging ideas. I recently bought 12x12 poly bags and will stick a decal/label on the front…

Nice video, how do you fill the pluggtrays with media, and how deep are the water under the rafts? 😊
@GreenEase

We buy the plug trays filled with Pete Moss from Grow Generation in Ontario. The water is about 9 inches deep under the rafts.

Do you have a video on growing and harvesting spring mix lettuce?How many seeds per hole?We have trouble with it having brown leaves on the bottom at harvest.We grow in NFT.

Not really. We have a spring mix harvester that I built that helps us harvest spring mix extremely fast and efficiently. We can harvest pounds in one minute. It’s under development and will be offering it for sale soon. We only do one seed per hole. We’ve tried double triple seating in the past, but have never been happy with the results.

What are you feeding? Also what are your thoughts about your rafts or table trays leaching into the water and then the food?
@GreenEase
@GreenEase 2 ай бұрын
Are you referring to what kind of fish we have? We don't do the fish thing. I don't think there's much leaching happening and it would be even less into the plants. I think there is more microplastics in wild caught salmon TBH
