I watched this video and you jumping your other car. I think you're running them the way they should be run. Most of my cars needed to get some bugs worked out. Sometimes with upgrades. I like making them better than new. Good job and good luck it's a nice fathers day gift.

@@ChriswithaCrc still waiting on parts to arrive . So far just an 8.4v nimh but I have two pinions to try and might look at a different motor . Then I’ll go brushless I think .

@@ChriswithaCrc I’ve had a couple of issues . I run cars in various sand trials and the dog bone fell out and also the steering link popped off 🤷‍♂️

Very impressive machine with that motor, really brought it to life. Love the wide stance it comes with, and it performs so well as a RWD you've got me rethinking my next purchase! Wheelies and all too. Looking forward to seeing more of this little go getter and what it can do!!

Hey there buddy , I'm quite taken back by its performance for sure , I think what helps with 2wd truck is its weight , as it's so light and wide it's very stable at speed . Honestly would recommend you giving one a go ! HPI need supporting there a awesome brand that unfortunately have had a few rough years , bit keep reinventing themselves. @@ChriswithaCrc yes youre right its very well designed and balanced from the look of it. Suprising how well it holds traction during the turns, and does not seem as prone to oversteer as i would have thought. Plus 2wd donuts are awesome hehe. Be interested to see how it holds up in the long run, and what its like to control in the air. Its a big pond alright but things are going great over here mate. Working very diligently on my new one, cant wait to hit that publish button. You do so well to fire them out with such quality and consistency! Hey there Pete , Got a cracker of a video coming out tomorrow, this will be something that's right down your street , RC modding at its best , the spur gear died buddy , pesky 48dp gearing on bashing is not the best . I've got my eye on one of those HPI's. Especially the V2 with the metal gears. (they got off to a bit of a rocky start with plastic gears in the brushed version). I can't decide between this version or the short course... Short course trucks are probably my favorite style.! You can pick them up for £149 at Modelsport right now which is awesome value in my opinion.!
