You know, I think I like you and the way you run your RC’s… you run them like a real person would… a lot of these guys get so many free cars that they don’t care if they launch them 50 ft in the air and land on their nose!! I don’t like trashing my RC’s… I take care of them like they are my BMW!!

Thanks so much for the comment , Sure does mean alot . I mean i dont get trucks for free so means i sure do want to look after them alot more than the plethora of channels that get the free stuff , Having said that my OCD just simply would not allow it . I do send my trucks from time to time , but i have to be in the mood and prepare for breakages thats for sure . 95 % of use hobbyists just dont use stuff within a inch of its life . You're one of the most relatable channels I follow, actually driving and maintaining and tuning these beasts, appreciated brother A sliding motor mount should've been stock imo. Idk what Tekno was thinking when they made everything else on the truck perfect. M2C to the rescue again

Yeah I do feel considering this is based around the bashing market the MT410 2.0 should have a adjustable motor mount , I can understand on the race trucks and truggies etc there fixed it makes it quicker for racers to get the mesh they need asap . Tekno does have a second motor mount with more pinion options, but yes, the M2C system looks slick! I may "have to" get it :)

Hey buddy , well thank you so much I’m a hobbyist and not a influencer firstly , this is my hobby and I’m trying to document my journey , the thing is that I find other channels are given opportunities to work with companies and think that sending them to the moon is the answer , but the majority of us in the hobby simply just don’t send them like that due to there budgets and also skill levels , I prefer to use my trucks and enjoy them rather than repair all the time from damaged parts etc . Oh, I am really liking that Tekno… what a nice build bro… and that paint scheme is proper!! I might try and build one😳… haven’t built an RC since my RC-10 in 1989,lol! Since my motorcycle accident my left hand doesn’t work hardly… so I’m not sure that building an RC might piss me off when I can’t hold this or that… what do you think?

Hey buddy , yeah I hear you when what about getting a electric screw driver and some speed bits to help with the aid of building it would that help ? I’ve got arthritis in my hands and I’ve found wrenching seems to help me , although I know it’s different with yourself . As far as the build process it’s genuinely relaxing for me . Have u had any issues with the plastic spur gear?. I have the sct 2.0 and that's been the major problem area for me as well as melting the plastic cross pin in the center diff

Well I had noticed some wear on the spur that made the teeth sharp and I belive this is down to the fixed motor mount position isn’t quite right , what I’ve done is bought the GPM metal spur to stop this happening again and also using this M2C motor your able to get your mesh perfect 🤩

I have an SCT410 2.0. I’ve only had a problem with the spur gear twice. First time was because the screws that hold the motor to the fixed position plate are too short, you need 2mm longer cap head M3 screws to make the motor more secure. Second time was due to the whole motor mount and centre diff assembly coming loose somehow, despite all the screws being thread locked. I would stick with the plastic spur since it makes the driveline quieter and as long as the mesh stays secure, you won’t strip the gear.

@@klappars I'd guess I've gone thru at least 5 spur gears. Only thing I ever did when it happened was a hard solid landing and I was running 6s but was not pushing hard in all truth. Considering the strength of the truck I was driving conservatively. I'd take a little drivetrain noise if it came down to it not blowing it's gears off. That one weak spot keeps me from driving this truck. .... And that sux! Wish there was a metal alternative
