Ditto! I was diagnosed with same cancer and wore the same blinders and plowed on! Just finished Cycle 6 and looking forward to living life again! God bless you.

Wow! I had the same diagnosis at almost exact same time. I started epoch on April 14, 2022. Like you I tunnel focused. I would constantly tell myself I AM HEALING. I wouldn't listen to other people stories. I was so focused on my treatments. I finished the sixth round on August 1, came home and slept basically for a month. I also love tiny Buddha. My one difference is I do not get scanxiety. Peace be with you and your family thank you for sharing your experience

very encouraging. A cancer diagnosis is not always terrible.

Thank you for making this. I’m a breast cancer survivor (24.5 years since dx; no recurrences so far). I’m a native Brooklynite (will never leave), and I love it when I “meet” other New Yorkers. I was treated at MSK. I embrace the negative and bizarre, as a visual artist and in general (no positively for me 😂). I like what you said about fearing recurrence or a new primary cancer. The fear may lessen but it never goes away completely. And there are so many diseases worse than most cancers (heart disease, for one example, can kill immediately - not that cancer survivors can’t get heart disease, too, of course). Still, cancers are amongst the most feared. Anyway, I wish you everything good.

You validated my way of thinking and life. Magick tempered with reality... Not about cancer but at 66 raising two boys who I adopted in my fifties. Foster that led to adoption. One 17 with autism and DMDD who is like a roller coaster with aggression and I worry about the future like I never did with my now 44 year old daughter. And my 13 year old son with adhd. I'm putting on my blinders and just living day to day and doing what I know is right in my heart and soul🙏 Thank you Sending you healing energy (I do shamanic work) and light and love!!

Wow, that's a lot to deal with. I like your wording here - 'magic tempered with reality'. Following your path of 'rightness' provides a huge sense of purpose and that helps with coping and living well into your path.

To be perfectly candid here, I don't like the title of 5 symptoms I ignored. I too don't know what all the 5 symptoms were. It's exactly what you wrote here, which may be 3 main symptoms. @@29sagittarius51

I was touched by your story! I’m thrilled for you! Your soul shined through….you had a glow about you. How you had acceptance in the first hours of diagnosis but given a real fighting chance after stating “you’d like more time” was great. I’m sending so much love to you and yours. 💕 Please Keep telling your story Harriet!

my hubby's mom was told she had Cancer and that she had it in her colon , possibly lymph nodes but she too was told that if she was going to be diagnosed with any form of Cancer the type she had would be the type she would want. My parents friend was told the same line verbatim, My great aunt was also told this, my cousin also told this same thing and my paternal aunt told that about her Ovarian Cancer as well, so makes me wonder why I keep hearing them using the same line on people.
@WVgrl59 Жыл бұрын
I don't understand. What do you mean they told people they would get the type of cancer that they wanted? I don't think anybody wants cancer but that's not how it works. Doctors meet at a tumor board to determine your treatment plan after they have diagnosed it.

My husband too. Cancer 3 times and they’d tell him “as far as cancer goes, you got the good kind”… ummm 3 times?? Insulting.

When my husband was diagnosed with DLBCL his oncologist said, “No cancer is good cancer.” However, he’s 77 and DLBCL is treatable and curable. Compared to triple negative breast cancer… DLBCL ain’t such a bad cancer to have, if ya gotta have it.

Getting diagnosed in CANADA is impossible all our Dr.s are in the U$A we get people without any accreditation sending you home saying your 65 of course everything is different/ You are old now.... Huh? I was one of those people who paid for healthcare my entire career now it free and a MIRAGE. When trying to find out what is going on You need to hear from serious people not happy go lucky women/ hard to take you serious sorry
