Viewing on 1-20-25. It is such a relief and so refreshing to hear a civil discussion that is free of shouting, screaming, name-calling and general nonsense.

Wish he were alive today. We definitely need leaders like him to remind us to consistently sit in judgment on ourselves.

23:25, That needs to be said more. Black Americans have never stormed our capitol. We have had one Black American President so far with Barack Obama. He did not storm our capitol or try to stop a peaceful transfer of administrations. And Dr. King, with all the racism and hatred he had to deal with, he always was a patriot, supported our country, and did his best to improve the lives of Black Americans and all Americans. He is GOLD! and one of America's treasures💯

I thoroughly enjoyed this interview. Not much has changed since 1964, with the exception of the our country being more divided today. There is such an uneasy feeling blanketing this nation today. Something is about to happen.

Wow! It’s amazing to think that this man was in his early thirties at the time of this interview. He was mature, articulate, politically aware, proud and assertive. How did we lose these admirable traits in our community, given the numerous opportunities we’ve had? I am simultaneously proud and disappointed.

Yess awful, I was only 4 yrs old then & I remember my mom watching this lil TV we had & she was crying. I really didn't understand but I knew things weren't going well out there. I started to feel unsafe when we left the house & really didn't have words to articulate. It's like a gut punch today just talking about it I hope today is a good peaceful day for everyone. 🕊🤍☮️🤍🕊

All people wear created to go through, life faze some a few years some almost a life time other are a short time to speak and change and preach we all have a purpose in this life to Fulfill our destiny, purpose to make a different and move on some life taken some died of sickness but we all make a Difference or a purpose in this life Doctor Martin Luther king Marcus,. Garvey and other leaders dispirit our colors , there’s a higher power a creator, of this world one day we all have to answer no human being is better than the other when we die we all go under the earth, we came into this world with nothing and we will all leave with nothing” cause nothing belongs to us we are all hear for a a while Weather it’s 20/30/40/50/60 Years we all Will die and have to Pay for our sins and answer to a God, who created us, no Matter ur tanks or riches of this world no one is better than the other or more important we are all unique and created from one God, out of love that God, gave his only beloved son for us his sacrifice there’s no greater love
