yes his policies to the mentally disabled and deregulating the stock market has now turned the stoc market almost into a criminal organization. The reasons why countries like Denmark, Norway have a STRONG middle class is due to its unions. He fired the ATC controlers. I met the daughter of one of them. As real wages declined and inflation increased during the 70s and early 80s Social Security was on the brink of collapse. The BI-Partisan Social Security Amendments of 1983 accelerated payroll tax increases, increased employment, increased the retirement age and yes made 50% of benefits taxable income. After these BIPARTISAn reforms Social Security not only survived but created large surpluses. Congress+Reagan saved it!

7:44 “dealing with questions about his age, stamina”……Ronald Regan had more stamina, strength and more mental acuity than the drooling potato we have now. The media back then attacking Regan on his age but protecting potato Joe about his age. The media’s double standard.

Reagan's policies set in motion to what has led us to many of the prvoblems we have today. The wealth gap got bigger, welfare programs were gutted, less taxes for the rich, avoiding the AIDS crisis, racist policies, snd and the failed war on drugs all happened on his watch. But he was a good actor who could sell it to America and Americans ate it up.
