Religious broadcaster Pat Robertson, who hosted "The 700 Club," founded the political advocacy group Christian Coalition, and ran for the 1988 Republican presidential nomination, died June 8, 2023 at the age of 93. In this "Sunday Morning" profile that aired April 9, 2006, correspondent Rita Braver talked with Robertson about the creation of the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), and his sometimes-controversial statements about faith and politics.

✝️My deepest condolences to his family but I cannot help but feel that the world is now better off. Pat Robertson was a hateful televangelist who had very bigoted views. He was honestly one of the most hate filled, sexist, racist, hypocritical, egotistical people I had ever seen. He said a lot of things that were not true about other people. I have to wonder, did he have a heart attack when his boy Trump was indicted for espionage and conspiracy?Pat Robertson has passed. And honestly, the world is better for it as sad as that is to have to say. 😐

I am a Christian but think I'm no better than anyone. "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God!" But I'll tell you this: There's only one way to Heaven, and it's NOT by being a good person, the best you can every day of your life! That's something each of us hopefully strive for? It's by accepting Christ into your heart as your personal savior. HE died for each of our sins. Do I know this as fact or faith? Well if your intelligent you'll know the answer!

Let's try to write a book together, how to read the Bible thanks new scientific knowledge we have as common average TV entertainment, I do not claim to say ...genius things, but average informations anyone knows or it should know, it would take to write another whole Bible all over again. I used these web public spaces to publish some of them, but saving average common chit chats on-line as precious documents in a book like a Bible might be always important. Each time l feel down helpless and exhausted, disappointed and skeptycal, l start to read religious topics, I still have a Buddhism book, helping me forget we are such tiny insignificant small creatures...much better getting back the human values lost. . . and it feels better, FAITH is always saving our lives
