Your channel is fantastic! This is my first time watching. I am flooded with a range of emotions as I watch. When I was in college in upstate NY, I too was in a group of friends that used to hike and visit the high peaks region as often as we could. Over the 47 years (yes I climbed in the Jurassic era-when all we worried about was acid rain) we lost touch with each other as we went off in our own directions to pursue life. Now I have to really push myself just to just walk my neighborhood (I still use hiking poles but for another reason). You conjured up enough long forgotten memories that I will be looking up some of my old friends. Thanks!

This is my favorite Adventure Archive video! The great Northeast of our country has so much history and beauty. I am so glad you chose to take an extensive trip there and to make an feature length video if your journey. We have taken the cog train to the top of Mt. Washington several times and the beauty of Acadia National Park is worth the visit. There is so much that you didn’t get to experience that I hope takes you back for further expeditions. Lastly, the joy of being able to experience the friendship between the 4 of you adds to the enjoyment of your videos. I hope you always appreciate the unique bond you’ve built. Thanks again!

Just got done watching this and loved it as it brings back so many fond memories of my time in New England. I just moved to Las Vegas from Massachusetts where I did all my rock climbing, ice climbing, and hiking in New Hampshire. In August 2015, 6 rock climbing friends and I hiked to Katahdin via the Hunt Trail (AT) - in and back. It took us 11 hours and was amazing...I'll never forget it. Mt. Washington in NH is a pretty amazing peak. I drove my grandchildren up the Auto Road, but I've also hiked the Presidential Traverse over 3 days/2 nights and that was amazing as well! And finally, I drove up the Auto road to do some rock climbing up the side of Mt. Washington. I've hiked so many mountains in NH, many of which were done solo and in every season. I will always love New England! Thank you for an entertaining video!

The Mount Washington auto road was built to provide employees access to the weather observatory (which is the oldest of its kind, built in 1932). It also provides access to the alter-abled and those with mobility issues to ascend the highest and most formidable peak (nearly 170 deaths have been recorded since 1849) in the northeast.
