I will probably mention other instances in the book, but having learned that they did this crap with all of the 4K releases (if not others) recently, and all of mine have the stickers removed so I could see the artwork better, I won't be repurchasing all the 4K releases two more times. :)

I think the sticker variations were the turning point of my collecting turned into ridiculous - Well, that and the multi-cover variants which were just cards you could change out.

Yeah. A gent showed me today how there were Vudu stickers also for the recent 4K releases, and I was like, "Nope, I refuse to go there, especially after I took the stickers off my original purchases." I would have to repurchase them all twice? Heeeeeeeell no.

Vudu is/was the better service when it came to claiming digital movies in Region 1. it actually let you have TV shows, but more importantly, you could still claim expired codes, I'm talking all the way back in 08 hard digital copies on DVDs. Vudu pulled Dark Knight, Wall-e and G-Force off my computer and added them to my vudu account. Also I've put in expired codes from films I got from dollar tree that say the codes expired, but put it into Vudu and bam, it's added to my Digital Library. So I'd say Vudu should have been hyped. For some reason Clone Wars movie wasn't pulled off and added, but the other 3 were. Don't get it, but meh. At least I didn't have to get those other 3 movie over again if I wanted to add them to my digital library.
