A new patient and DC Foot Doctor subscriber traveled across the country from California to see .me for his severe foot issues. Three years ago he suffered a traumatic workplace accident as sanitation worker. As a result, he lost all of the toes on his right foot. A combination of his occupation and the accident have led to very thick calluses, and dry cracked skin on his feet. He also describes his experiences with phantom pain, depression, and PTSD that often accompanies amputations. Be sure to watch both parts of this series, not only for the wonderful transformation of his feet, but to gain insight on experiencing a traumatic incident and how to overcome it.

As a Black woman growing up in a black household.... Foot issues was a thing that was not addressed by the elders. Despite them all having foot issues, fungas, bunions, etc all stemming from diabetes. Smdh... Thank you for your services because I love to see you help our community. This is something that is not addressed. You are definitely needed

Doc you are soooo right some people have absolutely no filter. Straight from the brain to the mouth. Hopefully this guy's feet will continue to heal and get back to " Normal " , whatever Normal is these days. However I did notice a tad of showboating on your part. These blade's no you can't buy these in the ( chemist )English equivalent to American drugstore. They are surgical blades. So jealousy 🤑🤑🤑🤪🤪🤪🇬🇧envying you right now. I know it won't get me anywhere.
