Me: wow! What a cute jacket! Her: it looks like a couch that a seventy year old would own Me: yeah no it's hideous. Burn it.

I used to have a "poncho" like when I was in grade 6 but it was a solid hot pink. I think it was just a short-lived trend of the time since I just wore it as a summer-friendly layer.

In reference to that small skirt: the circumference of my thigh and waist are closer than you'd think they'd be :')

Honestly, I found the cutest skirt in the charity shop (England's thrift stores but run by charities) and it was on sale for £1. Of course I bought it and it goes with my pirate style rly well! Its brown with ruffles and these cute pop buttons. I instantly made a brown and white pair of stays to go with it. Btw, life hack for making any pre-bra corsetry or before (stays, jumps, pairs of bodies, corsets, ect.) Use cable ties instead of the whalebone that was used in history. It works really well. Sewing by hand, for historical accuracy of course 😂🙂🙃🙂

The collab I never saw coming but that I'm so in for it ^^ Two soft creative queens ^^ The lace poncho my best guess would be for boho styles. I love the fact you did something so adorable from that fabric. I see those type of dresses on the thrift store and can never find a way I could make them cute and this was inspiring ^^

To be fair, I don’t think the before dress was that bad! It reminded me of something Minako would wear from the live action pgsm series. The final result is cute too, but I don’t know. Black and white doesn’t really do it for me and a pop of colour is needed somewhere. Can you try pairing the final skirt with something else?

I would wear the couch jacket

I thought the before dress was pretty nice, just needed to be taken in at the waist. The flowers you made were cute though
