I don’t agree with some of her views. Yes she overstayed and came here illegally but look at her she went to school got educated she has books out. She didn’t take it for granted. Good for her.

Her parents brought her as a child/minor, no fault of her own. She as American as anyone else.

She is a criminal. She overstayed after her USA visa expired, she got a job with fake social security number, she got private scholarship, she got married to get green card, her parents also overstayed on expired visa. After watching her interview and seeing her get this publicity is a slap on the face to legal immigrants like me who came here on work visa h1b, worked 10 years and got gc. I know millions of people in India are waiting for this opportunity but a unethical person like her lied and broke all the laws and somehow became a citizen.

@English Girl Yes they will, in fact anyone will if you are entering illegally, my question is how is it fair for her to get deported for something she didn't even commit? do you think a child just says "Oh yeah mom let's go to a country ILLEGALLY because I know how shit works at 11 years old?" How about we start making the "legal immigration" an easier process, it takes years to become a resident and it takes loads of money as well. I dislike open borders and I dislike illegal immigration, but when it comes to people like this, contributing to society and inspiring others for education is what we need. How would it be like for you to be born in a different country and your parents decided to take you in the US when you were just a child, put yourself in other people's shoes for once.
