At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. I've had the pleasure of her being my doula for the birth of my two sons. She saved my life and I will forever be in her debt.

Excellent information!!!! This is a whole world not explored or understood. We always thought babies did not remember, Anna makes this clear it is not true, the time in utero impacts us deeply in ways we are not even aware of. Thank you Anna for a great description of this deeply important time! All people should hear this lecture!

I bawled. This is exactly why I have chosen the path of being a postpartum and birth doula and why I am pursuing lactation consulting. Thank you Anna for your dedication to love.

This is a great talk form Anna. Every word is important and every prenatal act influences our life in more or less degree. Let us pay more attention to this periode of life and welcome babies in a warm tender womb.

Verwaal is right . . how do I know? I know because there is a therapeutic modality that has been out now for over a decade(Lifespan Integration) that provides the anecdotal evidence that validates her theories of how negative pre-natal, natal and early nurture experiences can leave a long lasting effects on our identity and behavior. These effects are recorded neurologically in memory and can be accessed and resolved and the integrity of the neurological and spirit of the individual restored.
