Thank you, Gray UK💝 I think it is pretty cool that you can make a fully saponified, translucent soap in about 20 min. If I had poured this into a mold or molds, it would have been ready to use in the time it takes to cool to room temperature.

Fantastic! Do you use mica for color? Thank you your answer😍

Yes I do. I use these in particular: nurturesoap.com/collections/mica-powders-for-soaps-and-cosmetics?filter.p.m.custom.colors_by_use=CP+Soap+Stable&page=3

@@FromGracetoYou by all means! But I would like to use tallow instead of palm oil. Hopefully it will work
@FromGracetoYou4 ай бұрын
Oh that will be very interesting! I'm sure you will check the lye calculator to make sure you use the right amount of lye for the tallow. I am eager to know what happens. Be sure to be ready for the "volcano" part. I stir with a spoon when it starts and it always calms down, but you might want to have a big bowl ready just in case...

Love this. I was wondering if this needs to cure? As it looks like a hot process method. Can you make this and pour set and melt down like melt n pour 😊
@FromGracetoYou3 сағат бұрын
Thank you, AMusingFarms💝 Personally, I think it is best to use the translucent soaps as soon as possible because they do tend to shrink over time. They don't need to cure because yes, they are a kind of hot process soap. This is not a good melt and pour recipe.This one is the only melt and pour soap I have made from scratch: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o5PPhH2gi92cq5I . It is fairly soft when you first make it, but it does harden over time. You might want to search for other melt and pour recipes from scratch.

Just more question! Can I add fragrence oil in it? Because SF is zero, can I add oil after saponification? Thank you for your answer🥰
@FromGracetoYou4 ай бұрын
Yes I always add fragrance or essential oil to my translucent soap after saponification. I am just learning how different ones affect the color. They don't affect how fast the soap hardens, unlike with cold process soap. This is one great advantage in my opinion. It seems that all fragrances are likely easy to work with. But too much will cause clouding. For that reason, I don't add it to all the soap. I add it to just parts so that I can retain some of the clearest properties of the soap for its beauty.😃❤

Lamento escuchar eso. Utilizo alcohol de 190 grados. ¿Es eso lo que usaste?
