how important is torquing bolts 😂 cuz thinking of buying basic tools and doing some work on my own but idk how expensive these torque things are or should i get them too instantly

@@trapea8324 very important, specially when you don’t have experience. Better buy them if planning to be mechanic, or you can rent it, if you need it for one time.

T45 or 7mm hex, 30nm torque 6mm hex, 16nm torque Size 18 socket, 110nm torque

This is was a bundle pads and rotors from eBay

Thanks - replaced both pads and discs on my E61 without issue (apart from one seized disc retaining bolt)

How long did this take you to do for one corner Mike (or how long for all 4 wheels)?

Front pads and discs about 1-1.5 hours and the same for the rear brakes. It all depends on what condition the car is in. Sometimes there may be less time.
