I’m a broken record with each drop, but in awe of the effort and transformation. Top, top work Marc.

I never cease to be amazed by people who can do bodywork, I know if I did it the car I was doing would never get an MOT again!!

It’s all about the want to make it right I guess. These panels gave me sleepless nights but I think they are getting there now. Cheers for watching 👍

The tech screws are a great idea!

I think I'm going to purchase some of those tech screws, great idea!👍. Another great video mate😁

Your front end has gone the same route as my own. The heat on the budget front panel certainly works a treat. Great work once again 👏👍

Marc just done mine on my Cooper had the same on the corners but managed to get them fitted ok, if only the lips were longer then the spot welder would have done the job great work 👍
@SimpsonsClassics3 жыл бұрын
Yeah it’s something I want to look into now but none the less it went well and I am pretty happy with the fit now. Cheers for watching. I hope you are safe and well 👍

Looked into doing the front panels as you did, but wasn’t confident enough to try. Would give it a try next time though as quite a fee plus points👍
@SimpsonsClassics3 жыл бұрын
Yeah this is something I didn't really want to try but due to the issues I have had with these panels I just went for it, I liked the results to. Cheers for watching.

Do you think that's the way to go then Marc if putting a new front end on a Mini. Weld it all together off the car?
@SimpsonsClassics3 жыл бұрын
I think it all depends on the space you have etc but I think this is the best way to do it I will be doing the 89 mini the same way. Just better access and nicer welds.
@chueewowee2 жыл бұрын
You're righjt, with the spot welder you are unlikely to have been able to pull those corners in as well.
@SimpsonsClassics2 жыл бұрын
The spot welder definitely helps! Thanks for watching 👍
